OG Daphne: mysterious nymph, died to save her little sister, beautiful, angelic Daphne now: I wAs cUrSeD bY tHe SiReNiX Idk I hate how they didn't just keep her a ghost, she could still talk to Bloom, Oritel and Marion, as well as the others. What was the point? They basically took this self sacrificing, tragic character and proceeded to do absolutely nothing with her except that she's married now which like??? Who cares?

This really brings me so many memories, it's both scary and happy, to think i watched Winx back in 2004, almost 20 years ago...i was a little child, and it was my favorite show. I always liked Daphne, and back then i wondered what happened to her.

I think it was only a decoration element. And during season 5 elaboration, a scenarist saw that decoration element and said "IIIIIIIIII have an idea !" XD

The opening is more like meditating music to me. So smooth!

Does anyone out theirs find it extremely odd that Daphne was both a LEGENDARY ninth from the time when the GREAT DRAGON DISAPPEARED in the ANCIENT past and Bloom's MODERN DAY sister? Or the fact that several episodes say the BLOOM the YOUNGEST sibling was the HAIR TO THE THRONE? Then their the fact the she looks old enough to be Bloom's MOTHER when Bloom is a BABY, in season one. But in season 2 she looks like she's only TEN YEARS OLD? And if Daphny was supposed to be Bloom's sister from the beginning, WHY is she carved into an tower in town square at Magixs? And why aren't her "parents" that important? I don't know about anyone else but I CANNOT except that she's somehow Bloom's older sister. Her backstory sounds more like some sort of ancient guardian than a BORN 16 YEARS AGO HUMAN BEING. So when do she go from "A guardian of the Dragon Flame that was around when the dragon disappeared" to "Bloom's sister?" This just looks like a HUGE plot hole to me, but no one but me seems to see it. Tell me I'm not the only one. Note: I used capital letters to emphasize a word, not to yell. I don't know any better ways to do that.

Yes the whole "Daphne story" was always a bit confusing, but in Season 5 they took it too far from logic, even for a fantasy series........

The first one is the biggest plothole. I don’t rlly remember that part but my best guess is that it’s not the same Daphne as Blooms sister. It might be a name that’s been passed down the Sparx family. Something like if the first born Sparx child is a girl her name is traditionally Daphne, but there’s not a lot of evidence for that so that’s headed into head canon territory For the heir thing it’s bc Bloom holds the Dragon Flame now. Before Bloom was born Daphne held the Dragon Flame but it passes down to the youngest. It could also be that the youngest child inherits the throne, or maybe they’re just talking about the Dragon Flame That ones probably an animation error, what with her Nymph getup. Her face is also covered, it’s difficult to tell her age sometimes Daphne is one of the Nine Nymphs of Magix, and they were extremely powerful magic users. They were protectors of their home planets. Them being on the tower is probably adjacent to putting the Caduceus on hospitals. A good luck charm to keep away harm As for her parents I’d guess that it’s because becoming a Nymph of Magix takes intense discipline and training. Being a Queen or King, while also requiring discipline and training, is an inherited title. Regardless of how disciplines they were or not they would still be royalty. Becoming a Nymph requires proving yourself worthy of the title. Sincerely, a person who watched too much Winx Club as a child

It's just like talking about Ancient Witches that destroyed Domino and talking about it like it's an ancient tragedy, then saying Bloom is 16 in first season and therefore all of that happened 16 years ago. Domino's destruction is very badly thought out in the overall timeline. Hell, in the first movie, Hagen says that the Company of Light disbanded centuries ago, which we know certainly happened after Domino, though that would also mean that Bloom is centuries old and just... I have come to accept that it's not been thought out properly ever since its inception. Better to just not think about it. It do be stupid though.

I think Bloom is sent through a portal not only for the change of place but also for the time… Because she is found in modern times, and also Mike and Vanessa are younger than the time mentioned in the Domino story as well… So physically Bloom is 16 but in plot base she is centuries years old. And that’s an interesting fact about the story as well. She is an old soul..

I actually like blooms season 1 look the most. Her face was so cute and the over the years it changed. And I love her Enchantix hairstyle too

​@@laraanne5133 I'm actually glad they changed it. It's nice to see the love and devotion of an older sister represented. We've often seen the loving parents sacrifice themselves for their children's lives but we rarely get to see that with siblings and I think that's a beautiful depiction.
