Winterizing an Airstream - using compressed air and antifreeze
Before you tuck your RV away for the winter, or in our case the rest of spring, there are a few precautions you must take in order to keep things in good working order.

Good tip on bypassing the hot water heater. Only made that mistake once. At least I was able to refill the 6 jugs of antifreeze from the kitchen faucet in the spring when I de-winterized! 😕

At least you didn't have to just flush it all out. Great idea for refilling... reduce, reuse, recycle! ~D

Great video, Down here in Texas most only blow the lines out and only put antifreeze in pea traps and some in gray/black tanks. And empty the plastic line filter at the pump. We only get a half dozen light freezes most winters. We alway enjoy ya ll's videos.

Glad you're in a part of Texas that hasn't had the horrible freezing we've all been hearing so much about. If you have to have freezes, light ones are the best! Thanks for watching. :) ~D

How did you make the hose for the antifreeze?

Just a couple of parts from Ace Hardware... an adapter to fit the end of the pump line before the filter and some automotive heater hose. If memory serves, the water lines are 1/2 inch. ~D
