You don't even have to do all of that man get the adapter to screw in your city water hookup after shutting water off shut the hot water tank off drain the tank drain the low points blow your lines from the furthest point away one faucet at a time until air comes out add about 1/2 to whole gallon of antifreeze to the traps toilet and shower and call it a day done this way 10 years no issues upstate NY taught a few at my campground as well and works great for them too no need for tons of antifreeze it makes the water smell after a while and its very hard to get it out of your lines
