I really appreciate your willingness to express and share your religious convictions. I was blessed.
You really struck home with me on your comments at about 2:44. How many winters have I seen so far and still get butterflies like a kid when the first snow hits? When I snowshoe into a trout lake in the middle of winter after a fresh snow like what you have in the video, my breath is taken away every time. I have to stop and just *look* and marvel at God and his creation. I love the seasons and the changes they bring. Thanks for this vid. It's great to see a MAN not complaining if it's NOT 72 degrees and looking for the remote for the TV.

Like life, so is Mother Nature and the weather - a Circle. This winter so reminds me of my experiences growing up in the 70s,, I love that my four kids can now experience " a true winter" lol.

+Yankee Self-Sufficiency (Combining DIY, Outdoors, Adventure and Fine Coffee) AMEN to every word!
Lucy looks like she loves the snow. My dog loved playing in the snow!!
I agree with you 100%. The four seasons are to be enjoyed! We all have our favorite time of year (mine is the fall). Each season has its own values. Enjoying the silence of a snow covered woods. How can one not see all this and not believe in God?
It is so beautiful and everything seems so pure and perfect for a while, thank God for the natural breath taking beauty.
As a Coloradan living in Florida, I couldn't agree more. I miss my mountains, seasons, and forests. Wish I was back there....
It's so adorable how dogs have fun in the snow :)
The snow is so beautiful and Lucy looks to be so happy outside playing in the fresh snow.
what a great snow fall! Thanks for sharing Cody!
Your videos make me smile. Thank you, we need more of that in the world.
Life at it's finest. Thank you Cody. God is good!
just perfect, and your faith complements the weather, thanks for that glimpse..
Amen! Love seasonal changes! Love the LORD! Great vid!
Amen and thank you for that message.
The most heartwarming and serenity giving video I've seen
Thanks Cody. I don't know you personally, well, to some degree I guess I do know you personally because you share your life with us. I mean we don't personally know one another, but I consider you a friend and brother in Christ and its wonderful to know that one day if not here and now our families will still meet. I pray that many will come to know Christ through what you do. I like to evangelize on the street and its so exciting to tell others of Christ's love and the salvation offered to them. God bless and keep it up. Pray for me and I will be praying for you.
I grew up in the south, we had two season GREEN and BROWN. Having moved to the mid-west and getting true seasons I am thankful and really enjoy the changes. Matthew 18:20
Your dog is so happy about the snow!
Cody I don't mean to bother you with coments al the time...But you are my favorite preacher. I love to hear you talk of our Lord. THANK YOU so much I know that doesn't seem like much but I say it with a big big heart.

Great Video, Keep up the inspirational messages thanks Cody
God has blessed you with some beautiful country for scenery, in any season. I love it when it snows. Oh, I love all the pine trees you have there, and how the snow builds up on them, and the muffled sounds that you do hear. At times like that I can almost hear his voice softly muffled in the snow, coming from so far away, though, yet within my breath as I exhale a mist of air, to feel him in that mist. I love it when you speak from the heart, and just let it all go. I don't think you rant. I think at those times that we finally put down the face we struggle to build for ourselves, and just let all our burdens upon him. Sometimes we have to say things so that we hear our own voice saying what we actually want to say, yet to find out if that is really what we meant to say and feel. Sometimes we find out how we feel by writhing in turmoil and letting go with how we feel in words, instead of the musing of our mind. I love listening to what you call "ranting", because it helps me not feel so all alone, because I feel much the same way you do, so far, on what I have heard. I'm am in amazement at a lot of ways that the brick and mortar Christians think, do, and say, but then when I have feelings like that I try not judge, but look to see if I am rubbing shoulders with them or not. Keep your "rants" going, because I think so many hear your "cries in the wilderness" and feel close to your words, because they are good Words, coming from someone who lives those Words, and gives them Hope in the thought they may be able to go on with their burden and find rest also. Good Words My Human Brother Namaste...............................
All I can say is thank you for every thing you said in this video. I admire you.
Gorgeous snow Cody!
Lucy is LOVING IT!!

As a minister, all I can say in response to your wonderful commentary is... "Well done, good and faithful servant". Keep on "pressing on toward the prize" and "run, with endurance, the race set before you", Cody!
Love your videos, you and your family are a great inspiration. God bless
Thank you for sharing your life Cody. I really enjoy watching your wholesome videos.
Great video! We are all blest by God's grace if we just took the time to realize it. God doesn't care about our ability just our availability to serve Him. You and your family do a wonderful job with that. Thanks for sharing your blessings with us.
live in Maine and love the seasons.. Spring is like a rebirth when everything comes back to life..Cant imagine living where the landscape is always the same year around..
Magical, love the music.
Thank you for being bold with God's message and not letting viewers discourage you from giving the good word.
You always have something to say that helps guide people love that
Indeed it is a beautiful creation, and God bestows many blessings. Thank you for sharing.
I'm from Florida, and we do too have seasons. Hurricane season and snowbird (tourist) season.
I love this video! It makes me feel very happy!
You are truly blessed.
Speechlessly beautiful.
I live in the north east and would not have it any other way. You can look around and see God's beautiful creation, including the four seasons. Looking at the mountains and hill sides here is always amazing especially in the fall and winter. Thank you for sharing some of the scenery where you live.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful day with us!
Thanks, Cody hope you had a Happy Sabbath.
Great video! Your words were so true. GOD Bless You !
Wishing you and your family the very best for the New Year, Cody. Your words consistently touch my heart. God bless you and yours.
I truly enjoy Mr. Wranglerstar. Thank you for your comments about a fresh snow bringing back memories of your childhood.
Amen to all the subjects you spoke of, and the way you expressed them. The woods have provided much of my living. But I still enjoy the simple fact of being there, just as you have said. If this is the old "bussman's holiday", so be it. When in the woods my thoughts always turn to the Lord. And the woods, or a simple meeting, can be a church.
Love your videos, So inspiring.
Thank you for the ride along and the inspiration.
Breathtaking !!
nothing nicer than the forest after a huge snowstorm. it feels like your living in a story.
I too feel rejuvenated with the first snow of the season, especially at Christmas, having lived in a small city all my life, I always longed to live in the country in a log house I built, but heart problems that started when I was 37 put an end to that dream, c'est la guerre.
Thanks for taking us along.
May the Lord bless you and your family. Love your videos.
love all your videos!
Your right about being out in nature after a fresh snow fall. Such beauty could only come from God. i love being outdoors after a fresh snow fall, even the dirtiest places look pretty
Thank you, and what a great message!
Thanks for sharing the snow, looked amazing
Thank you for sharing with us a healthier way of living.
I really can't think of a much better time, I'm hopeful when both of my sons are older they can be right there with me. Days like that are why I choose to stay in New England, seasonal change forces you to man up. God bless Cody. Stay safe.
Glad to see you're feeling better Cody. Very pretty with all the snow hanging onto the trees. Hearing you talk about your Thursday bible studies being a "church" and the response you got gave me goose bumps. I have honestly enjoyed sitting in on them. As a man slowly finding his way towards God I find what you do to be so much more real than any "church" I have attended and the message is as resounding and clear as any I have heard anywhere else. Thank you Cody. Maybe that is the answer to your question about the Study, to continue as it is, take it advanced or take a break...God is telling you through us.
I also live in a state that receives all four seasons and wouldn't leave it for any other place. I like your comment about "recharging batteries" in regards to finding faith in nature, I find myself heading to my family's cabin (around 350 acres) for the weekend after a rough week and just getting lost in the woods, admiring God's beauty. Keep up the great videos!
I totally agree with you, Cody. I absolutely loved the snow. As a transplant from Texas, snowshoeing through Portland was amazing- just like being a kid!
Thank you Cody. Good video, good pep-talk.
We wish we could be there too Cody...great words of wisdom at the end.
Excellent vid. Your work on your homestead and your practical advice for living in a rural/homestead environment are greatly appreciated.
Loved this video!
Hey cody I dont understand why so many people dislike the snow and are always complaining about it. I personally look forward to it.
Absolutely beautiful. Also hearing your back story is very cool. It is inspiring.
Man you sure got the snow you were wishing for! Thanks for the video Cody!
Thoroughly enjoyable video. I too, find a childlike joy in such snowfalls. Another of God's wonders. It is also great to hear your reference of church being a gathering of Christians, rather than the Catholic version of "the church"...where, to an extent, it becomes it's own entity (it can be nothing without God).
Cody, you and Yank should get together and write a book for young men. You both are great philosophers and put words together well,, what a lot of us older guys are thinking. Blessing to both of you.
Merry Christmas!
This is a fabulous statement. I remember the video from ***** as well, having watched that over the winter. Both of you have given me reason to contemplate our path. When you mention the snowfall bringing you closer to childhood, that really hit home. Nothing makes me as giddy like a kid as a good snowfall. Especially going out when it's completely silent and you can just feel the nature all around you, it almost soaks into you; there is nothing else like it. I hadn't really put that into words but your comment was just about perfect. Thank you.
Awesome time in paradise.
Hay cody thanks so much for sharing your faith and life with us. God Bless you and yours. Rafal M
You are so awesome! And so is our God!!!
I feel the closest to God when I am up in the mountains somewhere off the beaten path. Sitting under a tree overlooking the salmon river breaks. To me that is where man was suppose to spend his time. Along side nature only taking what is needed. God bless
Most awesome, magical video. Music totally fits the mood. Great job.
Good video, enjoyed it quite a bit. The country looks beautiful covered in snow. You are so right about living where you get 4 Seasons
Wow you did get some snow,, beautiful !! Glad to see that cause it seems the Pacific Northwest has been unusually dry for a while so this will help lower the fire danger... I like what you said about your "outdoor church" and agree it can be anywhere we can gather together no matter if it's under a roof or under the trees... I'm glad you brought us along for a the ride today !! THANKS !!
your video's are great, better then watching TV that's foreshore----Thanks
Your timing is impeccable! I have just moved from Florida to Tennessee for this very reason. We became so bored of the heat and sun (and the occasional hurricanes) that we decided to move to our retreat. We are looking forward to Spring, but the winter was enjoyable as well.
4 Seasons... Here in the UK we only have one. And it's called rain. All the other seasons are also called rain, rain, rain. :(

Yup, three major storms at least in as many months and nothing but rain, rain, rain with only the very rare dry day every blue moon! I'm gonna have to buy a boat to get around at this rate! I'm starting to think they used to say "Britannia rules the waves" for a different reason now.....

Love your dog !
Powerful message my friend. Beautiful scenery and snow just adds that extra touch of magnificence. Keep fighting the good fight

Great video. Great to hear your words during the last part of it. I so much know exactly where you are coming from. :-)
Cody thank you very much for this vid
Another great video.
Thank you for sharing!
I see others are feeling the same thing I am. Clicking "liked" just didn't seem to be enough. Thanks for the peace; something that seems to be in very short supply lately. Also, I am proud of you standing firm in your faith despite the criticism!
Good stuff Cody. Your property is beautiful.
Amazing scenery, regards from here in London ~Peace~
Thank You Wranglerstar, I needed that.
your message touched me very much, thank you.
