Hey guy. I'm a retired Trucker from the usa USA and I accidentally stumbled onto your site here and it brought back many good memories of years past. I drove all of the USA and parts of Canada with a lot of my time in the Great Rockies and the Appalachian Mountains during the Winter months and I loved it. I'll be checking back here for more of your trips. Really enjoyed it. THANKS.

Good video and nice views. You even had a picture of Stetinden (voted to be Norway's national mountain ). I know these places in the north since it's my home. The land north of the moral circle and the land of the midnight fun. You seem to get local knowledge of the places, the roads and weather conditions .... and know how to deal with it. Not every foreign truck driver can say that..... Nothing can replace experience and knowhow. In Kirkenes you delivered some stuff at a "factory" - as you call it. To me it look like KIMEK (Kirkenes Mekaniske) - a ship yard that delivers repair and maintainace to the maritime sector - specially to the fishing fleet and to the offshore/oil sector in the Barents Sea. It's used both by Norwegians and Russians. So Kirkenes is an important and high competent center. I guess you noticed that the street signs are also in Russian. If you go to the library you will meet Russians working there and they have a whole section with books in Russian. There are quite a lot of Russians living in this area. Some time back I saw a number that around 25% of all marriages in Finnmark region are between Norwegian men and Russian woman. For hundreds of years there has been influx of Finnish people to this region. At places like in Bugøynes they, still today, are Finnish speaking. In addition you also have the Sami population - with their own language. So in this region you will have the meeting of 4 different languages that coexist side by side. So people there are multilingual and multicultural. I say this to make people - that see this - aware of that this area is not an empty wildernes with a few people living in isolation and in the past. The reality is quite different I can also say that no other place in the world will you find a modern infrastructure so far north. It's equally far norh as the north shore of Alaska - for example. it's a quite large area called Troms og Finnmark fylke ( county ) with an area of 75000 sq. km. In comparison is Denmark 43000 sq.km. The distance from end to end - along the main road (E6) - is around 1000 km. So it's good that there comes a Danish guy who like to be a part of the logistics - in order to keep things going up here in the north. So take care and drive safe.....

Thank you so much for the additional info on the Finnmark region.. Awesome 😊👍👍👍 I did mention in the video, that Kimek is a shipyard, but yes saying inside the factory, was a bit off.. it should have said workshop 😉 The fishing vessel, that was being sandblasted in the background, was in fact a Russian vessel. I love Norway, specially the north, and I've always felt very welcomed there 😊🤗

LIKE 262. Hello my friend ... your Scania is very beautiful. Here in Brazil, Scania did not provide this type of cabin. May GOD always accompany you on your important journey. Hugs from São Paulo / Brazil.
