The hidden gem for us was the Smiths Scania, we don't see it very often and in fact have only seen its sister up until then, with the row of driving lights across the top of the cab.

New Zealand trucks on a different playing field when it comes to the transport world. Shows in this video. Late 70s and 80s paved the way.

What is the total weight of a 4axl truck and a5axl trailer in NZ? Here in Sweden it's 32 000kg for the truck and 42 000kg at the trailer.

Those Double trailers are allowed to carry maximum of 53 tons(53000 kgs)

Ha Ha every unit has a place in the world we live in. Some of the site i have to get into....a big 8 wheeler just wouldn't do the job. Ive driven alot of gear over to alot of Ks, but sorry lads the Asian truck are well up there now, auto too. WTF. ha ha. Linehaul ok, but thats just for lazy cun*s innit. ha
