A frosty day, a wonderful day
Blinds the eyes of the sun
And slide down a snowy hill
So the soul asks!
The day froze in a fairy tale
The bright sun above
Embellished with scarlet paint
A little expanse in white.
Under the spacious blue sky
The forest turned white from snow.
And childish loud laugh
The whole neighborhood was filled.
On a mountain ash in a white hat
Bullfinches made a noise.
Dressed winter snow
Forest, across the wasteland.
From the night snowfall
All the trees are in fringe.
And my soul, how glad
This fabulous winter!
Winter charms every year
Us in its purity
A white blizzard bewitches
A captivating world of beauty.
Behind the village through the hazel
A trail reached the pine
And under the snow there is a snowdrop
The first messenger of spring.

Was wondering....Why do many artists put trees with leaves still on them in winter scenes .. It doesn't look realistic...All the trees I know drop their leaves long before the snow... What a beautiful painting ! ! !
