Encase the plaque flat into the small dock somehow so it's visible in your drone footage or drill it into a rock...I can't think of the materials needed to protect it.🤔

Best Idea: Build a pirate like treasure chest. Put it in the middle of the pond. Put the gold play button in there. Maybe some lights around it so you can see into the chest with your underwater camera.

Never seen blue crab cooked that way. We cook them whole, with old bay here in the north east. The guts you threw out is good eats, crab butter. Congrats on 1m. Been watching for several years now, it’s the last video I watch before bed every Sunday. Thank you for the all the content.

In Texas they are alive when they go into the pot. South Alabama is missing out on some extra tasty crab feasts. Crab eggs are usually under the apron on their mom's belly. When crabbing you are supposed to return females with eggs to the water. My ex is from Maryland and there back then ALL females were returned to the water when caught.

Have you thought about adding catfish to the pond? I know that large bass are the focus but catfish aren’t usually going to be preying on bass and it would control the tilapia so it won’t get out of hand. Having some big 20 pound channels would also just be really cool

You could consider installing your KZread play button in an epoxy block and recess it so its flush with top of the the dock, although the UV rays may make it sun fade over time. You'll always be reminded of your accomplishments that helped make the pond your reality.

I was gonna suggest the epoxy block with some lighting and place it behind the waterfall.

When catching the trout it's recommended that you wet your hand before touching them so you don't disrupt their slime coat as much since trout are kind of fragile.

What is true is that trout are fragile. Pulling them out of the water like a bass can have very negative affect even to the point where they just die.

Congrats on a million. I dont fish and never have. But your channel is more than that. Its nature in the raw. We get to see all sorts of different animals just trying to eat. You are very kind to feed all those different animals the things you put out. I started watching from the beginning cuz I was interested in the five acre pond build. I even remember a video early on where you and your wife went fishing somewhere and caught Bonnie and Clyde.

When I read the title, the first thing I thought was the tilapia. The rainbow thrive in cold water. Congratulations on hitting 1 million subscribers. Your Chanel is certainly worthy. May I suggest building the gold plaque into one of the docks? It could be set into it using apoxy so one could walk on it.

I think it would be cool to put the play button in a negative pressure tank out above the pond. Where fish can swim up inside it.

you should add the play button into the dock in a glass casing sitting flush with the dock so you can walk on it

Do one of the upside down tanks that sits on top of the water with play button in the back and then you can see the fish swimming in the tank with a play button

Best thing to do is start netting the dying ones for a fish fry. Thats what we do in the north with talapia when they start dying off in fall.

One thing I've seen one guy death in Florida do when his Aqua escape ponds get or streams get too cold he runs well water remember the well water is gonna be about 60 degrees down the earth so if you pump a little that in the tilapia will go down to the warm water and stay there and survive just a trick I thought you might want to try.

I think incorporating the play button into a fire pit would be cool. When people come stay in one of the cabins, everyone can admire the button over a nice flame and some smores.

Congratulation on the 1Mil mark. Just encase it in sealed lexan and place it where there is good light on it so we can see it with the fish.

We had a tilapia kill at our neighborhood pond a few years ago. Never seen so many vultures, and the HOA learned their lesson about stocking tilapia.

I'd say mount the 1million plaque on top of the eagle platform, lets see if they incorporate it into any future nests they build, also you already have the camera up there, so it can be your backdrop.

Can you show your fish in the backyard pond? Like to see them again. Love the videos.

You should incorporate the play button into a bed for next spring. I think it would be cool to have one of the pond bass using the play button as a bed! Maybe it’ll even bring them in with the golden color, congrats on 1mil!!

how do you think the tilapia will fair till then? I was surprised to see some of the larger ones still hanging on their immune systems weren't designed for those colder temps but was glad to see a few of them still fightin. hopefully this is the coldest it'll get love this guys channel! it occured to me when him and the little one were cruisin through Bass 🎣Pro just now but thought he should donate one of the tiger bass to put in the aquarium. Thought it'd be neat to see them up close next to the southern strain. As always comments and ideas 💡are appreciated! 😄 😎

I would epoxy the play button, inlay it into the dock with some LEDS around it so people visiting can see it! Maybe put pictured of Bonnie, clyde and moby around it.

Gold play button idea: Build a giant trophy in the middle of the pond above water with the gold play button in the center of said trophy. I suggested above water because the gold play button could get dirty/damaged if it was kept underwater.

Build an apoxy thing, set it in low part of your small pond

The gold play button should be placed near the dock in the pond, submerged and contained in a waterproof housing, slowly rotating counter clockwise and illuminated to draw in the shad! Give that to an engineer if you want to spend a lot of money hehee

Frame the 1 Mill plaque and hang above a mantle in the Fishing cabin for all the visitors to see.

Plaque Idea: put the plaque in a transparent plastic casing and integrate it into the deck of either pond almost like your own Hollywood star ⭐️

Inlay the plaque on the wood dock..add a piece of glass over it to protect it. Then it can be seen when you do a fly over of the pond.

For trout try throwing mini jigs or sinking flies with a bobber, it is very fun fishing.

How dumb are you?

If you want a thrill catching trout. Try a fly rod. There's nothing like seeing a trout rise for a fly or seeing the strike indicator sink, then a 9 foot pole, almost taco as you fight it in.

Congrats on the million!! If I remember correctly you had one of those “above the pond” sight tanks that you built awhile back. You should build one of those looking glass tanks that sits above the water line that fish and what not can swim into and incorporate the plaque in that some how, I think that would be pretty cool.

Incorporate this idea with the idea of a buried treasure idea. Build an above the pond tanks big enough to hold the "buried treasure". Have the gold plaque holding up the lid of the wooden chest. Add lighted "jewels" of different colors and other fake gems and gold as part of the decoration spread around in there. Basically - make it a theme park for the fish to swim through that we can see.

In Western Australia you have to put back female crabs with eggs. Plus the limit is 5 female without eggs and 5 male per day. Minimum size is 127mm.

Put it on a sign on a pole by your fist pond because that is where it all started and present it to the viewer like a plaque.

For the KZread award - the best spot would be hanging by the front door of the pond's little house. Most visitors to the pond probably know about you because of the KZread channel and the little house has been a big part of some of these videos, so it's an obvious spot to want to visit. (It's like visiting a monument - a picture (or video) is nice, but seeing it in person is always better.)

Put the gold play button in the aquarium with Tiger. Move the piece of wood that is diagonal and put the button in between the 2 trees.

Make an oak tree looking case, with a see in center, that is showing the "gold play award" with leds rope lights inside to light it up.

Take the gold button, and pour a UV stabilized epoxy resin mold around it. Then prop it up in Cedar Falls, opposite of the dock---so as to visible every time you're there.

I hope the trout can survive the warmer weather when it comes. That way they can really start to put some size on
