Do you guys think that new games would be more interesting that they made mode where u are not bulletprof,where u can actually die from 1 bullet like in real life, so you put that mode and try to win game,that would be awesome for test real skill od players and more like real life. not only graphics and you are zombie who cant be killed

@@xxxSpixixxx cod has always been arcadey as fuck, the campaign campaign gameplay it self is just too casual to have a realism mode, if you put it on hardest difficulty and turn HUD off I'm sure it will have the same effect. But cod is just a cashgrab now, rinse and repeat every year. Battlefield is better in my opinion but it's down to personal preference.

Probably one of the biggest ironies in the Stalingrad siege was that the Germans literally made life harder for themselves. Their bombing made the brutal close quarters battles and sniper showdowns possible. It essentially deprived them of their biggest strength: accuracy and firepower at long ranges. Hell, the Russians knew this and were aiming for it. Definitely one of the greatest turnarounds in warfare history imo.

@@AFGuidesHD it’s not about trust. Hitler always planned to expand his “Living Space” eastward. It’s why he brokered the deal with Stalin to divide Poland. He wanted to make sure the Russians weren’t too alarmed as he shared borders with them. The communists were his real archenemy.

@@BrahmaDBA a bit of a yes and no. In a lot of documentaries and articles I’ve seen, the eastern front was actually winnable. But Hitler really screwed things up. Iirc, the Stalingrad campaign was a massive distraction. They’re other goal was to hit the oil-rich fields south of the city (forgot the region name) but Hitler wanted to gloat in Stalin’s face and arguably taking the city was a big morale blow. Then there was the fact that bombarding the city beforehand just turned it into a rubble-filled maze that denied Germany it’s range and brought them danger close. Finally, they underestimated Russia so much they literally did not expect the envelopment maneuver and counterattack the Russians sneaked countless units into formation for. There were countless other factors ofc, like Goring thinking his Luftwaffe could supply the entire army from the air or the allied forces guarding the rear being too underequipped to actually prevent the envelopment from succeeding or General Winter and so on,

@@9f81rsd00 Except if we have an alternate timeline where Germany doesn't invade USSR then yes, it is about trusting that the USSR doesn't strike first. Hence my point is we'll never know if such a strategy of fighting Britain and hoping the USSR doesn't invade first was a better idea. However I think invading the USSR at the time they did was in fact the best idea, the major debates come in from the tactics/strategy angle and other things such as diverting tank divisions away from Leningrad when they were needed for the assault on the city. Or the classic "should Hitler just have left an entire Soviet front on his right flank at Kiev and just rushed Moscow" debate.

Making it an option would be a nice addition. I like the way it is. I'm not reading subtitles while trying to play games and focus on the dialog at the same time. English dub all the way haha Also there are language localizations to choose from so I'm pretty sure that's already been a thing for a lot of games.

I also hate the forcing of SJW BS in video games but in this case it's a different thing. There were as a matter of fact quiet some female Russian snipers in WW2 (Lyudmilla Pavlichenko f.e.). So this is at least somewhat historically correct. So I don't really see an issue

Yea well get use to it because this is the shit you’re going to get from now on with big publishers and developers. It’s in every cubicle now.

My grandfather was in Stalingrad and he came over a dead war photographer and took his camera with him home and got the photos out of it. Based on those pictures the only thing that’s wrong in this mission is that it’s not enough bodies on the ground. Those pictures are insane when it comes to how many bodies there is. It’s everywhere, all the way to the horizon. there is a much snow on the ground as there is bodies.

He was Italian, so he fought for the AXIS. He did not want too fight but Mussolini forced him as he did with so many others. He said that he had never seen a people who had so much fight in them as the Russians and he said that they were a very honorable people even if they were enemies. They gained his respect. Mostly he drove a truck but he also did fighting as most soldiers did. But his main job was to drive a truck witch I’am very grateful for because even though he had 2 near death experience he still survived, he probably wouldn’t if he was on the frontlines everyday. With that said, driving a truck in Stalingrad sounds like suicide mission aswell I don’t know anything about the photographer man and my grandfather is resting and never cold again so I can’t ask him!

In this mission there are two references to CoD1 and CoD2. One of them tells us where the cracks in Pavlov's house came from. And the other reference is about the seconds before Russian Battle of Post office from the second mission of "Call of Duty 2". The attack on the Post office takes place straight after Polina killed Steiner.

I do wish they would make a remastered version Call of duty of world at war I mean I believe some of the story was fictional in the game but none the less it was a good ww2 game.I do wish that the developers of the Call of duty franchise would make more Call of duty duty games that depict real wars like WW1 Vietnam even the gulf war in Iraq. My only disappointment with Vanguard was the career was too short. I wish the career or story mode in these COD games were a bit longer than what they are.

She was, but Pavlichenko wasn't in Stalingrad. Her character is more like Vasily Zaitsev, but of course female, so feminist can be happy and sledgehammer don't need to research about the battle of Sevastopol for a decent story about Pavlichenko.

Seeing how the glint of German sniper scopes makes them look like they are all holding giant flashlights. I don’t see how they would have been a very effective in ww2

A woman carrying a half demolished guys body through the war full of krauts and shooting everybody with a pistol is really very realistic :D

Imagine if campaign wasn’t tiny and was more than 4 hours ..

Someone should create a game going through missions for major battles on both Allies and Axis power sides. Western front, eastern front, Africa, the pacific and make it realistic where you don’t just clear a whole unit by yourself where you would be dead in 10 minutes irl

You will never be able to play an axis soldier. Why? There is a narritive, which has to be kept alive by the allied countries. Even 80 years after WW2. Germans are Nazis and Wehrmacht was evil. They fear, that you could like to play a German character in the end. So german soldiers will alway be the bad an stupid enemy in video games or in Hollywood movies. That's ok for everybody, I guess. For me as a German, it is not OK. It doesnt feel good or right, to shot stupid Germans, even in a game. So, I don't play these games... Easy

Whats it like if you play “That flag must fall” from COD Finest Hour into this gameplay?

@@AFGuidesHD You can try other Finest sountracks since they also involve playing a female Soviet sniper.

I doubt a sniper would be going for headshot's. Best to aim center of mass and if you just horribly wound the enemy all the better. That means more soldiers are out of the fight dealing with him.

I can’t take these games seriously anymore because ever since I started reenacting and reading books on the subject of the Ostfront, it ruined them for me due to the amount of inaccuracies and cringey historical biases that exist within them

All they did is take the enemy at the gates story based on vasili zietsev (which they already did in cod world at war) and change it to a female character and viola, there you go a new game 👍

Just to mention it: Polina gets hit first and even twice at 3:10. If this was a real war, her career would be over already at this point. But thank god the forgiving damage model of COD saved her :-)

Ah yes, jumping out of a C47 that promptly gets shot down over Normandy and crawling around as a sniper in Stalingrad. Standard Call of Duty WW2 game fare, then.

This is sick reminds me of that mission in world at war

Why not do it about Panifilov's 28 for The Battle of Moscow defending the city from German Troops and Tanks with anti-tank guns, Molotovs would have been more exciting or even for Stalingrad more Street fighting against German half tracks, tanks, infantry etc.

Compliments: The gun shot delay after incoming fire cool. Complaints: partner who is man is dumb and careless. Tiny little power puff girl kills an entire platoon of nazis in CQB no problem and has a long boring revengeful conversation with her arch nemesis who is an old nazi after a climactic corny close quarters fight with him. Also, 65% cut scene 35% gameplay.

Impressive quality for a ww2 era scope.

The lady voice acting Polina has got a cute voice when she's shouting. Could listen this all day long lol.

Ah yes, female soldiers on the frontline. That’s historically accurate.

Nowadays games look like real film. Shadows and light reflections are so effective and real.

I would say this is the best part of the campaign

Then there is ripping Legends off, putting politics bias in, and shitting down the throats off people when you say is the post game release and in the trailer for your game that you going for "historically accurate". I'm so glad someone recognized it 🙏 I loved to play CoD2 as a kid, kinda cool to see it reappear in the modern era

The meaning I take out of this mission is; The soldier's getting used to the weapon over time is given with tiny details. it was like a baby to use in older versions.

“I am a stone. I do not move. Very slowly, I put snow in my mouth. Then he won't see my breath.'' This gameplay led me to watch Enemy at the gates yet again..

4:56 The AS44 was a prototype that was produced in very small numbers in 1945 and never entered the Russian service. Stalingrad was in 1942-43. Like what the fuck. I know these games can't be 100% historically accurate but little things like this are just dumb. It just shows that they don't care. I've played every single Cod starting from Cod 1, you know, the REAL call of duty's. Cod's 1-bo2 put all of these to absolute shame. (The new MW was pretty decent as well) It's like these developers have never played the original ones. Makes me frustrated and sad because there's so much potential with these engines and yet they go to absolute waste every year. Sometimes I'll hear younger kids talking about how Cod WW2 was their favorite call of duty blah blah and it makes me sad that they never got to experience playing Cod WoW or the other ww2 ones. Maybe someday things will change.

Nice graphics but i still get a feeling of being trapped within invisible walls and forced one way. It,s like all the other games, except the early good ones of COD. Weapons lack feeling of weight, everything seems without any mass, bullets travel in a straight line. Hard to explain though. Game looks good for the eye but thats it.

System of stealth is amazing i must play on this one!!! At the matter of age i appreciate alone missions much more than before
