Winter on the Bernina - German • Great Railways
Tight turns, breathtaking drops and magnificent views make the 61 kilometer rail link between St. Moritz and Tirano, originally opened in 1906, into one of the most impressive sections of the Rhaetian Railway. Snow, wind and freezing temperatures make the battle with King Winter a though one for the Rhaetian Railway staff. This film shows the many faces of a Bemina winter between Pontresina and Poschiavo. Early morning snow clearance with the 9218. Fantastic panoramas of a sunny day between Ospizio Bemina and Alp Grüm, snow storms at the stations, the cold stillness of the almost deserted Cavaglia and wanderous images of the Dampf Schneeschleuder in its line clearing challenge.

ich war schon dort. Allerdings mit dem Motorrad.
Nicht nur hin oder durchfahren, Zwischenhalt in Alp Grüm sehr feine Bizochel oder Kapunts und zur anpassung der Höhenwehwehchen es feins Fläschli ROTE.MMMMMH FEIN.
Was für ein fantastisches Video von schönsten Gebirgsbahn der Welt. Auf dieser Strecke war ich vor vielen Jahren im Sommer unterwegs, was einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Vieleicht klappt es ja mal mit einer Winterreise ? Danke für's Einstellen.

Wie hat man die entgleisten Bahnen wieder in die Schienen gebracht? Vorne meterhoch Schnee, seitlich ebenfalls...Gab es portable Hebeböcke, die vielleicht mit manuelle Hydraulik eine tonnenschwere Lok anheben und seitlich versetzen konnten?

Yes it is and 'german' means 'deutsch'(as in the language) and 'germany' means 'Deutschland' so the title says the video is in deutsch not that Bernina is in Deutschland

Not correct! From Passo del Bernina to Tirano it is italian speaking country.

@@pietrogriva which is still in Switzerland except the last few kilometers, and the narration of the video is still in german (the language)
I thought Bernina Express doesn’t run in winter. Does this mean the regular train service (without the panorama window carriages) runs all year long?

Yes it is. Tomorrow morning at 07:02 am the train leaves Pontresina and at 09:17 am it is in Tirano. Then a train every half hour until evening. Exception: an avalanche has buried the route, then it must first be cleared

Wieder mal geht es wohl nicht,ohne absolut nervige Hintergrundbeschallung!! Man versteht oft den Sprecher kaum. Ihr hab 1-2 Videos,da habt Ihr es bewiesen daß es auch ohne geht.

Fake title!!! Not "German". Bernina is in Switzerland and the languages in this part are Rumantsch and Italian. Perhaps St-Moritz speaks Swissgerman.

Und Sie sind ein Fakekommentator, der annimmt andere Leute wären so dumm wie man selber. German bezog sich auf die Sprache des Sprechers. Manche Leute sind mit Hirn echt nicht bestückt worden...

@@ffm60313 Wenn man geistig nicht in der Lage ist, Geschriebenes zu verstehen, macht man sich mit ieinem Kommentar wie dem Ihrigen nur lächerlich. Vielleicht sollte man nach dem Aufstehen auch das Gehirn mit einschalten?

@@ffm60313 Heutzutage gibt es auf KZread zuviel professionelle Falschversteher... Sie kapieren oft nicht mal das eigene Argument. Hautpsache man kann Aufmerksamkeit bekommen, bzw. von anderen Energie abziehen.
