List of all main winter Olympic games stadiums through history from 1924's Stade Olympique de Chamonix to 2026's San Siro.
An Olympic stadium is the site of the opening and closing ceremonies. Though not all of these venues, many actually contain the words Olympic Stadium as part of their names. Olympic Stadium may also be named a multi-purpose stadium that hosts Olympic sports.
The Winter Olympic Games is a major international multi-sport event held once every four years for sports practiced on snow and ice. The first Winter Olympic Games were held in 1924 in Chamonix, France.

Can you make winter Olympic hockey arenas please?
The BC Place seating capacity information is incorrect. The seating capacity for BC Place was 59,841 up to the Olympics. Immediately AFTER the Olympics and Paralympics, there was a $500 million renovation that, among other things, saw capacity reduced to 54,500 due to the replacement seats being several inches wider.

I prefer the Winter Olympics to the Summer Olympics. I wonder how some of the hotter countries create the Winter Olympic feel to them. I can understand Canada and those countries that get lots of snow but not sure how London would fare for example

@@racheldemain1940 I mean, you can talk about Canada having snow but 2010 in Vancouver was probably the warmest winter on record. They had to fly snow in to make sure events could go forward.

I find it hard to believe that pics of the actually ceremonies couldn't be found for more recent years. Like all of the 2000's.
