There was a time in my life when I would seek out winterscapes like this. I would pitch my tent and grab my cross country skis so I could experience the beauty and solitude of winter for several days or a week or more. Thank you for sharing these beautiful winter scenes. They remind me of those special times!

Who needs Christmas lights when you have the beautiful decorations of Mother Nature with snow covered mountains, roofs of buildings & trees. Add in a beautiful white Rasta & you have the perfect Christmas scene.

Those narrow, curvy, slippery roads are almost giving me a heart attack 😃 I thought Switzerland was the most beautiful it could possibly be in September when we were there. Now I see the beauty of winter.. the soft lamplight on the snow is stunning. I’m having a hard time deciding which month I should come next time. Whenever I watch these videos, I try to imagine my great-great-grandparents living there before cars or electricity, and what their lives must have been like. It is so fascinating to me, and I wish I could travel back in time and see it back then! I think it was a hard life, but being surrounded by so much beauty would have made it all worth it. You did a wonderful job showing the beauty of winter in Kandersteg. 😊
