Jonathan Stewart I have lived here for over a year in Copan Ruinas. My wife and daughter are here with me. 100% there is no worries in our community. The violence is primarily in the 2 major cities: San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa. I travel throughout San Pedro Sula. It's predominantly in certain neighborhoods. There is no reported violence upon tourist; it's within the gangs warring over drugs. We do work in the remote mountains; the people are harmless, very loving and caring. Incredibly beautiful country and people for photography and video work. We bring in mission teams from the US. You could join us while they are here and then stay behind when they go back to the states. Take you to interesting places. Let me know, I have connections throughout the country. Been coming here for 5 years before moving here in 10/2013.

Macsization Fairly cold. I have a shot of a thermometer one morning there. I think it was around -30C, but it can get a lot colder than that. Days were typically -10C. For a guy from California, that's cold, but we're no different from the locals in terms of how we perceive it. In fact, sometimes they wear even more clothes for the cold than I did.

The cold is no joke. It's always a risk, and you've got to be prepared. That said, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to explore, as long as you know what you're doing.

@@henryfisher2138 I just got back from Ulaan Baatar November 2018. It's cold was frozen never got above freezing October-november. The Mongolian pop song that comes up at about 21:00 in the car, I recorded a rendtion of it at a North Korean restaurant in UB in November 2014. It is on my youtube channel. Unmistakable melody. Great video. I've watched several videos about Mongolia but none of them have covered where there people who live in Yurts/Gers use the restroom or bathe.
@GetOutsideYourself
6 жыл бұрын
Did I cover that? The nomadic families will just do their business in the field, or in a pan if it's really cold outside. I know it's kind of gross, but the dogs will follow you (their sense of smell is amazing, they know when you're ready), and they will actually eat the human feces. This is more the feral dogs, not the trained family dogs, but still, these dogs typically hang out around the gers and get additional handouts, but aren't used for hunting or anything useful. I found it pretty weird, but the dogs would just sit there patiently waiting for me to finish and then just have at it. As for bathing, it's using a towel and a bucket of heated water, and obviously it's not a daily thing, at least in winter.

These kazakh people tribe stayed in Mongolian land from 1800's and mongolians saved their lives. Kazakhs saved their tradition very well and Mongolians saved our tradition very well. But we never mixed. It is prohibited from our ansectors. We live respectfully to each other for long time.
