even the expensive resort was fairly cheap, and it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be..the food in both the cafe, and where you were staying, looked delicious...the drone footage captured some truly beautiful shots of the nature there, and the frozen river looked amazing...thankyou Pavlo and Luba, for sharing these wonderful videos with us

@Account Name First of all they are in the Carpathian Mountains which would be the western side of Ukraine so if there were to be an invasion that would be about as good placed to be as any as they could quickly get to Poland,Hungary or Romania, nor do I believe there would be any fighting there. Second don't believe our media for a second, hopefully this can be de-escalated and the culture and economic ties between Russia and Ukraine are very strong much stronger than any ties they have to the west. It is a very complex history, these countries are like brothers and at times the big older brother(Russia) has done horrible things to Ukraine but other times has been quite good to Ukraine.

@@rickmosholder4593 There are incredibly strong cultural and economic ties between Russia and Ukraine. Yep and remember Ukraine was under Russian dominion since the 17th century. Putin is crazier than anyone imagined full scale war seems very unnecessary, and this is a hot button issue for the Russians. From a geopolitical perspective controlling the land between Europe and the caucuses is critically important. I still hope this can be deescalated for everyone's sake, diplomacy is the answer not bombs. No one will leave the negotiating table happy but the fighting will stop and everyone's concerns can be realistically accommodated. This is an issue between these governments not the actual people. I hope for peace for our friends and colleagues both in Russia and Ukraine.

I very much enjoy your videos. Wishing you, Luba, and your families safety and good health during such difficult times. You have friends here in the USA if you ever travel here. My grandparents were from Ruda in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast. Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦

Here's another...man walks up to a line of people in ussr. Asks the woman in front what the line is for. The woman replies "I don't know." The man calmly waits in the queue. Shortly an old lady walks up to the man and says what are you queuing for? He replies "I don't know." Eventually a couple walk up to the back of the queue and ask the old lady what she's queuing for. She says "I don't know but it must be good...look at the queue" it's an d soviet joke apparently.

Don't trust the media in North America - it stopped being about news years ago and is instead focused on whatever narrative they're pushing. When nothing happens because there was no real threat, the Biden Administration will still say, "Our tough stance scared them away!" and fools will eat that up because they want to believe it.
