I wish I could have seen Big Bopper Jr. before he passed. For a guy that didn't have any musical background, he sure did put on a good show.

His Dad didn't really either.By trade he was a radio DJ & I say that but not wanting to take anything away frpm this new venture. The Bopper was awesome & it saddened me they dug him up because of a stupid rumor.

They should tribute the Big Bopper more. They made the Buddy Holly Story for Buddy, La Bamba for Ritchie Valens. No movies centered on J.P. Richardson aka The Big Bopper! That's kinda wrong!

Did you know that JP Richardson (The Big Bopper) is not in the Rock and Roll hall of fame?? Buddy is, Ritchie is.. Bopper is not. and it's so so wrong, he did some great stuff.

Great meeting you After Watsonville WDP and the greatest Honor was connecting with C, I, B, M and Donna. They are such warm and welcoming human beings. They turned a horrific tragedy through their faith, into a shared warm glow that embracing us all in the love and warmth of Ritchie's legacy of innocent times.(Oh John, I never shared that a couple days later we magically crossed path with Luis Valdez.

Bruhh Waylon and Tommy Allsup were accusing him of lying about the events of the coin flip. Dion never really came out with his side of the story until 2009. I think Dion was telling the truth and that Waylon and Tommy used their deaths for attention and to start their own career. He was never even acknowledged in La Bamba or the buddy holly story.
