Best thing about carp fishing - just the peacefulness and how it helps mental health away from the stresses and strains of work

For me the best thing about carp fishing is the prep = rewards, I tell my carer and dad what tactics I want to use, the rigs, baiting etc and when it all comes together we are reeling in fish. Funniest thing is seeing peoples faces when I’m reeling a fish on a day session being held in my wheelchair and the other guys on the lake have been there three days without a bleep on the buzzer 😂

I carp fish on a canal and I enjoy pre baiting and then catching them off my hard graft. Plus I enjoy the rig tying and bait preparation and just being outside on the bank, my little own peace of tranquility. I just love everything that comes with being a very passionate carp angler.

Best thing about carp fishing for me, is going out for the day/night with my son, who suffers with anxiety, and it really does help him, just relax and takes his mind off things, also having a bit of banter with him about who is the best at fishing, i tell him its me, but really its him lol, keep the video's coming, great gear

My favourite all time carp fishing moment was talking my 6 year old grandson night fishing for the first time and seeing his face all happy the whole time we were there, I've never seen him laugh so much. Unfortunately we didn't catch any fish which was a shame as I really wanted him to catch one. But we had fun teaching him to cast and mixing up the spod mix as I let him choose what bait to use and what to put on the rig. He kept me entertained with question after question about where are we going to sleep, how are you going to make me a hot chocolate, what are going to cook my dinner on 😂. Can't wait to take him again when it dries up a bit as linear fisheries is my go to venue and it's boggy and flooded. Great video and well done on your Hardwick capture 👍

I really enjoy nearly everything about carp fishing. Love nature around the lakes/ canals that I fish and just love being outdoors away from the hustle and bustle. Carp fishing in the uk right now is just booming.

All aspects of fishing are fantastic, but you got to love the night before fishing day and waking up way before your morning alarm clock goes off, like a kid at Christmas 🤣 another top blog by Jack, great result mate as always 🎣💯👍

For me as cliche as it sounds it's just being there. The escape from the everyday hustle an bustle of life. Seeing things like kingfishers, deers magical sunsets you can't see this stuff at home. Catching is a bonus just being there is enough.

The best thing for me about carp fishing is not blanking, there is nothing like that buzz of the alarms going off when you least expect it to.
