This is my dog, Tripper's first camping trip since his elbow surgeries.
Its winter time now at the fort in the woods and I wanted to see if we could stay dry and warm overnight while camping through a blizzard at the fort in the woods.
We cook up good food, collect a ton of firewood and ride out the blizzard while winter camping.

I love the Dog, my man. He looks like he is well taken care of and he also has those first glimmers of, ( in my opinion), a primal intelligence that serves him well. Dogs are like people, some of them are sweet, some rude, some happy, sad, crazy and some of them can be taken out of their comfort zones and subjected to new things and the wild. A loyal dog is better than most 5 random guys.

Is he 100% healthy and God willing not ever have to worry about C.F.? I hope that is the case. I'm so sorry your family and went through that pain for 15years. If I had one wish it would be to live in a world where children never got sick. Give the sickness and diseases to us adults to handle and leave the children alone. Kids should never have to deal with pain and disease and surgeries. I pray for all children across this world and would give my life to save any 1 of them. A couple of years ago I ran on to your videos and subscribed to your channel. I just want to say that by watching your videos, I learned about how to start a fire with wet wood by splitting it. I had to build a fire in my pit to stay warm because the power has been out so long, and the wood was wet from the snow. I thought of you and your videos on how to get a good fire started. It's good to see you and Tripper back out in the woods. When cooking with cast iron, get the pan super hot first THEN put the oil in before you add any ingredients. That way you'll build up a nonstick barrier and you won't be tearing your taters apart.

I know this video has been out awhile but I just saw it. My daughter was reliant on bl00d transfusions her entire childhood because of myelodysplasia/aplastic anemia. Then she got iron overload from all the transfusions so she had to be hooked up to a portable pump which meant needles continually. I literally felt like I was helping to torture my child. She’s now an adult with kids of her own and she has told me, “I appreciate everything you had to do for me”. I’m sure your lovely daughter will one day understand the hard choices your family has had to make as well. Be blessed and thanks for taking us along your adventures!

That is why so many people love your channel, including me. Keep up the great work! I love watching people build things, and I love building myself. I like to build little forts and things down at my creek, it is very rewarding. Again, I love the videos! Keep up the great work, and I hope the best for your daughter. Hey Joe I'm from upstate NY, my uncle's used to backpack into the Adirondack mountains for days at a time. They used to have what they called a sulky I believe. It was a two wheeled wagon with a platform they pulled all their gear in and out. You could use something like that, or a set of wheels from a kayak to move and collect fire wood
