Would you consider making and selling a 12-month calendar of your scenery that you have shared over the years some with Bruce and Bruno if it’s not too painful? I would definitely purchase it. Just a thought. Simply Living Alaska channel does calendars and it is beautiful. Calendars from you would be so beautiful. Just a thought 🐞😊😊🐞

But I do love that spot when it snows. I saw that tree wobbling when you started hooking the tarp to it and worried you would need to have a second redemption camp if it broke loose in the middle of the night.😂 Keep airing your cigar time opinions because we like to hear your take on things and that is part of the AB CAMPING experience. SAMOYEDS are double coated dogs. They have so much fur that their skins never even get wet when it’s pouring out. Not to mention the amount of fur that grows between their pads keeps them from getting any kind of frost bite on their extremities Bruno, however, is not the same kind of dog and doesn’t have the same kind of fur growth. Bruno, does indeed have the potential for frost bite and any kind of cold issues. If an adult human wants to travel by foot in wet freezing conditions, that is their prerogative. But to expose their pet who isn’t made for this type of weather to the same environment really isn’t being a responsible pet owner. And I know those sitting at home, on their comfortable couches, in their warm homes, say “oh Bruno WANTS to be with his owner, look how happy he is”. No. Bruno would go to the ends of the earth with his owner because that’s how dogs are. Bruno would walk till his foot pads fell off just to be with Tony. Because that’s how dogs are. Dogs will DIE for their masters, because thats how dogs are. It doesn’t mean it’s right for the dog owner to expose their dogs to these extremes. It’s OUR responsibility as pet owners to keep our pets safe, fed, and COMFORTABLE. I have a hard time watching these extreme camping videos when the pets are involved. I’d rather the you tuber leave Fido at home under these conditions where he’s safe and cared for.

Tony, I know that I am not there and experiencing the weather, but it is exactly the weather I love being in. There is some primordial satisfaction in conquering the elements. I’m sure our ancient ancestors were immensely proud to manage in such conditions, whether in a cave, under an outcrop, or in a man-made shelter. I do understand the danger of such conditions, as I once investigated the hyperthermic death of a homeless person trapped in freezing rain. A couple of hunters found him in the woods. He did not have a tent, but he used a plastic sheet he found somewhere, which did not offer him any protection. His sleeping bag became soaked from the rain. He had on every stitch of clothing he owned, but it wasn’t enough when the rain saturated him. Unfortunately, the weather conditions worsened during the night when the freezing rain hit hard. We found him huddled under a fallen tree, where he draped the plastic, and there was evidence he tried to start a fire, which was useless. Larry from Texas

I only recently discovered your channel in the past few weeks. I find your approach comforting. You don’t behave as if you’re narrating a nature show but more like you’re talking to ME (or anyone) like I’m there with you. I’ve been a bit isolated lately (shouldn’t be for too long) but you’ve helped me not feel so lonely through this time. I appreciate your long videos. I’ve had a habit of keeping the TV on for “company” but I realize now it was just noise. You do a great job. I appreciate how much you and Bruno put into these videos. (Brucie is what caught my eye in the beginning. He is what made me stop and watch in the beginning. I have a baby who looks so much like him.) I’ve learned so much from you in very little time. I went camping for the first time in my adult life after watching you. I never thought about camping ALONE (especially as a WOMAN in late middle age, lol) Good for the soul. You’ve inspired me. Keep being opinionated. I love listening to you talk about normal every day things and and telling us so much about everything you’re doing. I feel like I’m right there.

amazing to see a dog that would rather be out in the rain than be under the tarp. Clearly, the dog was happy and enjoying being in the rain, as long as there was no thunder. Also amazed that a fire could actually be started given how wet it was and the wet wood--wet on the outside but somehow the inside is dry enough to burn. one thing that's obvious, regardless of the video being watched, don't go real cheap when it comes to equipment. Good equipment is worth it when it comes to camping, being outdoors, and being able to deal with bad weather.

Very much agreed, putting up a good shelter can save you way more than a potential fire that could go out in the rain..

My Sister of all people told me about your channel because it reminded her of me and my camping pictures and clips, our Border Collie Boss was always with us on adventures and what you say is true, we set him him up a cozy spot and he’d go lie out in the mud in the rain.

Give your wife a big hug for letting us enjoy your company during this beautiful camping trip. Thank you for taking us along with you and Bruno ❤️ PS how are your boots do your feet stay dry and warm? Any special socks? Thanks

Here in British Columbia Canada, we put fried onions and bacon on our burgers. I work in a burger place named A&W. The teen burger ( lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mustard, ketchup, mayo, cheddar cheese and bacon) is the most popular. Mozza is second. Thousand Island dressing (kind of) with lettuce, tomato, mozza cheese and bacon.

At 74, I am laid up with my 4th bout of Covid since it infected our humankind. Yep, tested positive this morning. My plans to beat yet another session of Covid is going to be lots of fluids, rest - with reruns of Tony, Brucie and Bruno. Being diabetic I find getting the right kinds of food is a real challenge. My son was never a good cook plus he is in a wheelchair. Looking forward to a new episode of Tony and Bruno. Call in pizza is on the menu for the next few days. 😢.

How this video entered my feed I'm unsure! (It's a possibility when you listen to other videos in the evening, ready for and are in bed, listening to stuff from you mobile. No, not good sleep hygiene; nod off and bam, awake to a miry warning "Facebook is friendlier, no cleaning up of posts!" Interesting point and unfortunately the reality. All spoken from a tent in the rain, contentedly. Absolutely bonkers, but I do go for walks in the rain. My children had a Border Collie like Bruno who they named Rexx. 'Thanks for the memory.' You so clearly love these breaks, trekking and camping in the ultimate peace and seclusion of inclement weather. Of camping, I'm not a fan but then I love woods, some gardening (putting up with everything: bugs, cold, rain, spiders - patient work). I guess I relate. Plus, our dog hated to be wet; I got to see a real Collie nature firsthand. I'd take Rexx out for walks and if it was wet, he'd be on tippie toes 🤣! We purchased him in Wales, 7 wks old. That first wash I did (being the one that needed to bond! Everyone else was excited, I was not). I held him for it and there was no doubt he did not enjoy being wet. He like being with us. A companion dog. In the park, out walking one day, taking us unawares a greyhound raced at him, from a hedge aggressively, and he jumped straight into my arms 😳 he wasn't a puppy tgen, either. What a laugh 🤣and unusual, not much phased him. Lightening though and fireworks night, would see him comfortably under our chairs. Camping may be contagious if the sleeping bag is good enough 😊. A very genial video.🌿💚
