    Well because a lot of parents put little to no effort into cooking good meals for there kids. Cooking bland tasteless frozen pre made meals & canned BS. Having frozen tasteless chicken & vegetables & hamburger helper & beefaroni every week gets old.

    @@gavinhanson9213 lots of parents grew up without ever being taught and don't have the know how, combine it with the lack of time to even cook or even watch a youtube video for a simple recipe and they go for the fastest options. You see lots of families struggling and having multiple jobs end up with really bad meals because of this.

    I think that’s the real Gordon. When he’s in chef mode he puts on his game face to get things done and done the way he wants. Sometimes on his television programs he shows compassion for the contestants when he knows they are struggling and not just underperforming.

    I couldn’t stand Gordon Ramsey until I watched Kitchen Nightmares when he hosted in the UK. I realized he wasn’t just the swearing chef, he truly did care about quality of food, and the respect he showed to the people who were eating the food. I’ve learned a lot from Gordon over the years. And every Gordon recipe I made for my family, has turned out beautifully!

    @@ArmednotTriggered This! Not many professional chefs of his calibre will rant about how good the food is at a food truck, but we've seen him do it. He respects what you can do and how passionate you are at doing it, not what piece of paper you have that says you're fantastic. Proof in the pudding and all that.... I've always thought that on Kitchen Nightmares he plays the role of Nanny McPhee: when you need him but don't want him, he must stay; when you want him, but don't need him, he must go. Sums it up pretty nicely lol.

    I absolutely LOVE that you take the time to teach your children how to do what you love so much. It gets them in the kitchen and allows them to do something with you - but it also teaches them so much. This is what I call "INTENTIONAL PARENTING". You're a wonderful Daddy and an amazing teacher.     They're already grown up. These videos were recorded like a decade ago. His son recently joined the Royal Marines, and that daughter hosts a cooking TV show and has also recently published a cookbook. With the exception of the one that was born like a year ago, all of his kids are adults now.

    Chef Ramsey, I just want to comment on this video to thank you for your outmost service to those nightmares restaurants. You’re not only helping the owners but also the other businesses in seafoods. My son gave us the tips on observing the restaurants whether their safe to eat there. To tell you.     He seems to have patience for the learner and impatience for the less than stellar employees. His bar is really high though. I have trained adults in technical skills. I understand his frustration.. when he knows that they know better... but they go off and do foolish things anyway.
