Winston-Salem Portrait Project Unveiling
A community engagement and public art project created to build bridges and relationships across the city.
In 2019, more than 100 Winston-Salem residents came together to nominate neighbors, share community stories, and learn to make meaningful portraits of one another.
One sculpture, eight murals and a community exhibition to celebrate these new relationships will be unveiled on April 10, 2021.
You are invited to meet some of your neighbors and see yourself reflected. Together, we all participate in the diverse and intersectional fabric of Winston-Salem.

It is a great honor to be included in this project with such fine citizens and leaders of the Winston-Salem community. Kudos to Kisha and Jasmin, the committee, the photographers and other activists. Peace and blessings to all!
I'm on the edge of my seat, can't wait to see it!

Good morning everyone we are here supporting everyone kudos to Pamela Phillips!
It's sad we can't go in person per Gov. Hitler Cooper orders
Sounds like a waste of money again for Winston. Just like the damn pipes with the lights on them for 52 and 421. When Winston has a lot of bigger problems y'all are going to waste more damn money.
