I know this is a summer theme, but for a slightly more practical build it might be better paired with winter stuff like the frost trail so the meteors actually land on the higher hp enemies chasing you around forever

I think Winter and World Freeze would be ultimate combo for a higher difficulty so meteors will hit the targets

would LUV to see the opposite of the 'chose all gods' jewel , ie uniques for each god that locks out all other gods and focuses on that specific gods niche , ie war - dmg , time - xp , summer - burn , winter chill/freeze , etc imho all meteors need is a base dmg and aoe increase allowing them to be a more effective 'carpet bomber' , making them instant like light rays just removes their uniqueness

I capped out the fire elementals for lols last night. They are not worth the Incineration prerequisite. Blood Swords and Skelly’s hit like a ton of bricks.

It scales pretty well with all the extra projectiles, really just needs some dynamic enemy tracking.

second bolt also benefits from luck , cause it's luck based

36 meteors at the average damage comes out as 130k damage per cast. With my mediocre build with max master force gets master light rays to 70k dps and master landslide to 90k dps per instance per cast with light rays getting a full overlap with master duration and a couple cooldown effects from the shrines.

I'm a big fan of the spinning amulet in a lot of cast builds. I think it works on meteors too in order to speed them up.

This is like the minigun in fallout 4. There sure are a lot of projectiles and they technically do damage.

I feel like either the meteors need to strike with less delay, or the spell should be reworked to something like an eruption, so that it hits from the ground instead of from the sky. Might even work as an idea for a new separate spell.

should do it again with the unique that gives everything a stack freezing and winter so you freeze everything and the meteors actually hit something? :D

Maybe if meteor shower had movement prediction for enemies as those bombs have from a bomb guys. Then it might be S tear ability.

Yeah, they are supposed to be little fire foxes, we just don't get to see them enough lol

I wonder if it would be worth it to try and use equipment that slows down enemies, so they actually get hit by the meteors. I don't know what slot(s) you'd have to give up for that, but it's a bit silly seeing the full wrath of the god of fire lose to a skeleton walking at a brisk pace, so it might be worth considering at least.

hmm, i just had a thought, the shrine with the dash wings as a choice for 20% on dash... does that stack with celestial wings skill as its self... never checked the states or wording, not sure. but ima play after watching the rest of this video

Have you been able to make a Lorien cast build work? I was only able to do d100 with fatality/god of war/justice stuff/landslide. After you pick up Fatality though, the casts don't really matter :/

on d100, nah. It just ends up being an attack build with some random casts..

They just need to make meteor like light rays - instant hit (the animation can still show a fancy smoke trail and everything, but just like a real meteor, it's traveling faster than you can see, so all you're really seeing is the after affect. And fire elementals (all summons really) are so damn slow that they just end up chasing enemies around and never doing anything, except oddly enough, on the final boss, because while the djinn does teleport, he doesn't move around in between, so he's uniquely vulnerable to summons and meteors.

Normally I listen while at work during the week but while I was playing DMD I tried to take a break in the middle of the run. When I pushed back to roll my chair back one of the wheels got stuck and I fell over and now I’m just camped on the floor.

@@gamingwithjeff thankfully just one of the levers for adjusting the chair broke in half, terrible old chair I need to replace anyways so it’s just more motivation. Really lucky too since I had my grandpas old acoustic guitar next to my desk, I usually play while waiting on loading screens or taking a break.

@@naitian13 Not sure what you mean here. Master ranks are higher value versions of expert skills and you can only roll legendary skills off of Master rolls. Those have nothing to do with darkness levels.

You think it's possible to do this the each of the gods? I mean change character if necessary but only take damaging spells from one god.

You keep saying "alterate" do you mean alter?

Game is really unfun as a new player. So I kinda just dropped it. Without already established items etc you kinda just struggle in Act2 because the mobs are so bullshit.
