I would say, if you can get havertz, they are unbeatable for maybe 4 or 5 years! Remember except muller and lewa (and neuer but he is an goalkeeper) every player is between 19 and 25.

I would not call Kouassi well established yet. I think he had like 6 appearances in Ligue 1. Compare that to when Sule was signed. He did 33/34 Bundesliga games for Hoffenheim 2 seasons straight. Kouassi has a chance to establish himself now though.

There is NO justification for Messi winning this year unless he shoots like 15-20 goals in the Champions-League. Lewandowski was Instrumental to Bayern and scored 34 (!) goals in the league. But the FIFA is corrupt as hell so Messi will probably win again.

Bayern's staff is all dedicated. The club is all about tradition. Everyone is involved and doing their best. The board, the players, the coach. Kinda limited by Bundesliga's financial rule but the mentality is just great all the time.

IMO that's what makes them unique compared to other european giants. Bayern rarely make the headlines on skyrocket 100+ mil transfer, probably won't for at least another year. Yet despite that they're often being considered as UCL contender. They had a couple years of slump but now their forms recover, and they did it within the same season too.

If these players leave/get sold, then the money that goes into their wages can be used for more players with slightly less wage.

They don't really buy selectively. They're just highly established in the German league and players from rival teams just join them, making the rival team weaker and their team stronger. Be it Goetze, Lewandowski, Goretzka, Hummels, etc.

Haters are talking about how bayern bought all of bundesliga's talents. Let me remind you, muller was from the academy, davies was a teenager that we transformed into the worlds most expensive LB, kimmich was also relatively unknown until pep made him the best rb( now dm) itw, neuer and boateng also became world class at bayern. Gnabry was average at arsenal, but now he's one of the most expensive wingers out there. Our most expensive signing was hernandez(which i think is still overpriced), and it's a huge gap between our 2nd most expensive signing. As a matter of fact our entire starting xi costs less than coutinho's fee to barca, let that sink in.

I feel like Hansi's mentality made Müller understand that he might not be the striker he was 10 years ago but that he can be one of, if not the most important player in the team, as one of the smartest and most versatile playmakers in the field.

I wish my Barca could at least take a page out of Bayern's book and do the same. Bayern is just such a well managed club. They've such an exuberant playstyle, a squad full of talented young players, the best striker in the world in Lewandowski, a beautiful stadium, and awesome fans. I wish the Barca board would learn something, and turn the tides of our future, because we are not going In a good direction.

Take that 2:8 as a moment for a comletely do over! Get rid of the board, get a coach which is dedicated to the club (Koeman or Xavi), renew the strenght of La Masia, get rid of a lot of players and rebuild around Fati, Puig and de Jong (who needs to play in his position from Ajax)! It could be a long way, especially because you do have such an incredible amount of debts, and I´m not sure if you should go that way with or without Messi, but otherwise you could end up like Milan.

Love seeing Brazzos masterclasses getting a spot light. He’s easily a top 3 sporting director as of this season that just ended. Goretzka got so much criticism in the beginning by the German media but he was free at the end of the day. Now he’s integral to Flicks midfield and I couldn’t be any happier as a Bayern fan

Been having Bayern München as favorites to the CL title ever since the beginning of the group stages. They've been superior all the way, winning every match and only Olympiakos giving them some struggle in Pireus. Both Chelsea (7-1 agg) and Barca were truly terminated, though the latter single match quarter final will be the one remembered, probably also leading to Messi leaving the club of his life. I see few clubs beating the German champions now and none of those left in the semi finals. They are heading for new heydays.

As an olympiacos fan, I was happy and surprised we were able to put up a fight. Even if we didn't win, we did get a 3 2 result

Imagine that Bayern has since ever 0 debts nor they have a sugar daddy from Arab, Russia or US. Clubs like Juve, Inter, Milan, ManC, ManU, Liverpool, Chelsea, Real, Barca, PSG, Red Bull etc. has either huge debts or a sugar daddy. Also, Bayern highest transfer expense on a single player was 42 million Euro until last year. Even other clubs paid more 25 years ago. Bayern is literally the only club in Europe which could claim to built a real dominance by themselves.

@@bsman321 WTF, Real Madrid won a very mediocre league this season, do not get deceived. Barcelona and Atletic did very poorly this season. Actually I am amazed that Barcelona sill had a chance. They also do not buy with Intelligence, for example look at Chelsea they sold Hazard who is almost 30 years old and bought Pulisc, a very young player and similar characteristics as Hazard, Hazard is a good player but with a lot of injuries and that is the worst enemy for a player. Sometimes you need to buy smart and that is what Bayern is doing, finding a player as Sane for 40 million is cheap nowadays, patience is the key for any negotiation

This decade in the Champion's League, Bayern München have been to 4 semi-finals, 4 finals & won 2 (both trebles). Thats more appearances in last 4 than the entire Premier League combined, and yet you could still argue that they've underachieved slightly. Thats why they've dominated Bundesliga, not because its a "farmer's league" like casuals like to claim. Teams like Dortmund, Leipzig (with Werner) or Gladbach would be title challengers in most top european leagues, its just Bayern that are on another level...

I think the injuries to sule and Hernández can’t be understated at all, it’s kind of the reason Davies has developed to who he is now

At the end of the day, it´s the board that makes the decisions aka. Hoeneß (now retired) and Rummenige. They themselves always stated that they´re done with their work at Bayern, once they found the right people to take over from them. Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic are those successors, with the Bayern gene running through their veins. I mean, Kahn WAS Bayern in the 2000´s, the former leader on the field is now the leader of the club... It´s beautiful

Uli Hoeneß is insane. When he took over this was just a mediocre Club with a few good seasons and comparably high debt. He made this club a global player without any crazy transfers.

Calling it now: Bayern are winning the Champions League this year. The strength of their starting XI and mentality is amazing.

I think what is the Bayern route to gliry: pick the best guys from the second line who want to step up and are hungry for success. Other clubs buy guys from the first line who then fall flat because they feel successfull just by joining those clubs.

Bayern Munich is so efficient. I mean the top 2 clubs Bayern and Dortmund are superb in forming a good squad with less amounts of money. It is just mind boggling to think if the PL clubs became as efficient as them, with the money they have they would really knock off the other teams. Take Arsenal and Dortmund, both have similar budgets(Arsenal has a slightly higher) still Arsenal is damn inefficient signing players like Cedric and Luiz. I just wish someone like the Kroenke family is watching. As a fan I can just dream

Don't forget Wolfsburg and schalke were balling 3 years back with the likes of de Bruyne, perisic, sane, draxler. Klopp brought the Bundesliga efficiency to the prem, won the league and UCL with 1/4th of the money united and city spent

Then again, if they do have the same budget as the other big teams, they might also make the same mistakes. I think one of the reasons why German teams are really smart in the transfer market is the 50+1 rule.

It’s messed up when people say that they’re tired of Bayern winning the bundesliga. While the resulting title wins remains consistent, Bayern have proven time and time again that they work extremely hard to win the title every season, something that the rest of the clubs have failed to do.

exactly, and also it's not just about how good the Bayern players are it is because they have a winners mentality. If you look at last year for example, we were 9 points behind in the first half of the season but we kept on winning consistently till the end while Dortmund couldn't even take advantage of a 9 point gap. This shows that teams like Dortmund, B. Monchengladbach, RB Leipzig etc. dont have the right mentality to win the league.

This reputation of Bayern's for free transfers and waiting for players to run down their contracts is completely bogus. There have been three free transfers in the last 8 years. Lewandowski came on a free transfer because Dortmund didn't want to lose Götze and Lewandowski to Bayern in the same window and so kept Lewandowski for the last year of his contract. Meanwhile, both Goretzka and Nübel came from Schalke, who have become infamous for losing players on free transfers in recent years. Other names include Joel Matip, Max Meyer, Sead Kolasinac, Choupo-Moting and Neudstater while they also let Rakitic go down to his last six months on his deal before selling him for a reduced price. And that just in the last five years. Arsenal, Liverpool and Sevilla have all benefitted from Schalke's poor management of these contracts; are Bayern really going to be singled out here? Meanwhile, when have Bayern signed players in the last year of their contract? Sane was one, but it's not as if Bayern planned for Sane's injury. Neuer was one. They paid 30 million back in the 2011 for him, though, which was a LOT. Who else is there?

After all, they did buy both Pavard and Hernandez last window. This was more of an opportunistic signing than anything based off of a long term strategy.

Why not talk about them. Let me tell you something. In the last 15 years , in Spain, besides Barca and real, only ONE CLUB won the league, and that is Atletico in 2014. In Germany in the last 15 years there are 3 teams besides Bayern to have won the league, and that is Dortmund Wolfsburg and Stuttgart. Why not talk about that huh? Same in Ligue 1 , psg dominates

There are good teams in Germany, but Bayern keep them from getting good enough to seriously compete against them by either buying out their best players abd/or stacking their team. With regards to Spain, yes you are correct. However, while you can argue that Real Madrid and Barcelona are dominant forces, can't say the same for the rest which is why people argue that LA Liga is worse than the EPL in terms of competition
