Love to see the jetbikes! Heatlance are a deadly addition and jetbikes are great for scoring on top of that! I sang their praises from day 1 so it's great to see them in one of your lists.

What I've been quite enjoying with the wyches is taking lilith and a succubus and using a venom to break a 10 lady unit in half and attaching a character to each (since the breaking in half happens at the start of the declare battle formations step). Along with 2 Incubi + Archon units and a solo Drazhar gives me 5 assault threats roaming the board in venoms.

I love the Skysplinter. Beginning of 10th just felt like playing spiky Tau, this really feels like Drukhari now. I preferred melee heavy in 9th and hopefully the Wyches detachment is badass when the codex drops, but Skysplitner will hold me over until then.

Drukhari MSU looks so fun ! I have tried to adapt the MSU genre to my Nids army with very little success but I am not giving up on the concept just yet XD

I have been running a court + 5 kabs with the good guns and an archon. The unit has been amazing and often my all star unit. Think about it! Haha

Hey skari, thank for the content. You're one of the guys i look up to in the hobby because you use every unit in your codex and play with everything in your book. I got to ask tho: 1. How do you not get bored just sticking with one list for a long stretch of time. 2. Whats your sweet spot for playing enough games with a list before you move on to something else.

Fantastic report and analysis as always! I'm very torn between splinter and realspace for my list, and first team tournament next weekend! Especially with me breaking statistics every time with how poor my rolling is on average, less pain tokens isn't great and realspace+art of pain on beastmaster for farming has been fairly alright for me. I also find without -1 to hit on my Incubi squads they just die and making +1 to wound against coven has helped alot (running 4 talos, urien and 1 wrack squad), i've been debating dropping 1 set of mandrakes for reaver squad. Ahh the decisions, ahhh the dark kin, keep it up!

Thank you again for the competitive review. Your thoughts are definitely helping me refine my list. Had an RTT this last weekend similar to yours but I narrowly lost to wolves and daemons. Like your thoughts about the wyches and Lilith. I may try that out. Thanks again!

I played a RRT between mates. Really struggled vs Nids and Chaos Demons. Beat the Ironsheild SM comfortably and had a close game vs Knights. Struggled with the different profiles in Demons and Nids.

Can you explain the necron matchup strategically? How do you handle the ctan and how do you hold the objectives for primary?

Carbine and the solarite combat weapon, having an assault weapon is key to keep the unit mobile in a pinch I believe .

Congrats Skari! Great insight. Coincidentally, I've been running a similar list and also trying Reavers this week. However, I'm not sold on 3 units of Mandrakes and been happy with 2x5. Any thoughts or reasons on 3 instead of 2?

Hey Skari, why do you take 2 cannons on venoms? You lose the ability to advance and make an action if needed. Since a splinter cannon isn't really, good...

The double splinter cannon venom is such a classic load out. It just feels right.

Dropping the spite raider archon and incubi and adding Lelith, upgrading a venom to raider, and can add that third unit of wracks you want

This list dynamic is different, you can fight for the mid board with the incubi !

can the beastpack move through walls?

Yes, only the Beastmaster cannot. Not usually a problem though he has decent movement and can just trail behind or go around as needed.

@ckenzie6567 Thank you for the insight. One question if I may: I load all my special / heavy weapons into the Venom and use obscuring cover to hop out / hop in. What do you use the vestigial 5 man squad on foot for ?
