Actually yes,FRIDA's voice is supporting backing vocals in there together with Bjorn and Benny.Agnetha is missing.

Only Mireille could have done a great cover of Abba and Streisand and do them justice , she has an amazing voice , so powerful and soft !

You are talking about the greatest singer in European recording history (almost 200 mio. records sold), and if you listen carefully, you can hear that it is ABBA singing the French backing vocals! This French version was produced by ABBA shortly after the original was released, Alain Boublil was the contact who arranged the meeting, which was not their first. ABBA had been guests in MM TV-shows previously. Mireille Mathieu recorded the vocal in Stockholm in studio with Bjorn, Benny and Frida.

ABBA did the backing vocals on the French version and agnetha has already covered songs by Mireille Mathieu from her solo period in her youth, they know them very well.

I grew up listening to her. I liked her duets with Julio Iglesias.

She is an amazing singer, seen her live at least 10 times. Check out her Ennio Morricone record, one of her very best.

my grandpa loved her a lot. strangely she had a very huge success in germany and she sang a lot of german song without understanding or speaking the language. her nickname was "der spatz von avignon". she never changed her haircut. what a beautiful face she has. great pick, thanks for bringing her back into our minds!

@@MikeandGinger By the way, Napalm Records recently dropped a cover of ABBA's Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! by AMBERIAN DAWN. I'd never heard of them before, but Napalm Records is always a good sign. I have no regrets from clicking on it. 😃

In college I took a couple of semesters of Russian along with four of Spanish. I’d drive people nuts with my Sprussialish. The cover is nice, but nobody can touch the real deal. Agnetha’s voice impales the soul.
