Winner of the Quran Reciting Competition From Turkey - 2017 "Heart Touching Songs" #quran
A recitation of surah al-'Ankabut by our brother Mustafa Altın, the winner of the Qur'an reciting competition, broadcasted on Turkey's local channel TRT1 during Ramadan.
For the first time in history of Turkey, a quran reciting competition was produced on turkish TV during the month of Ramadan.
Many young and talented qaris took place in this competition.

I hope Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Malaysia , Indonesia, India, Egypt and Saudi Arabia can organize a rotating International Quran Recitation competition yearly. Other countries including China and US can join later and this may lead to cooperation and peace between nations.

Always hated this kind of recitation - so bad!!! They make the qurain sound like a wailing book :( Alhamdulillah this kind of screaming is disappearing and Many Many better reciters are raising.

A song is meant to be sung, the Qur'an is meant to be recited... I think the title "Heart Touching Songs" is inappropriate. Correct me if I'm wrong :)

The lyrics of a song can also be recited. That's besides the point, however. The Quran isn't a song, though the recitation of the Quran resembles singing. Wallahu 'alm.

Farhiyo dahir No not at all ... reciting competion is about reciting counting the voice , following tajweed rules and breathing control etc ... memorizing competitions are something else I guess

Unknown Truth most of the participants were hafith (people who memorize the whole qur'an). So, it wasn't a problem at all to recite the parts for them :)

mate they dont read it... the Qur'an just stands befor him. they dont read from the book, they recite from theire memory.
