q is a magazine show that’s unpredictable in the best sense - proud to be “a wild mix of culture by way of Canada” as described by the New York Times. The Globe & Mail noted the show’s “raging popularity across a variety of platforms -- podcasts, television, websites, satellite radio, terrestrial radio, and occasional live remote broadcasts."

Let's just assume I'm socially inept. "cool"? Im suppose to understand where you are coming from? No, you don't demand others see things your way, BUUUUT yes if we are to be of the same feather. Did I misrepresent the undertone of your statement?...or...Where you being sympathetically sarcastic for Jack Rebney and his plight?...or...Do you feel that Jian Ghomeshi was being condescending, trite, or trivial in his manufactured outtakes spliced together? ...or...am I simply suppose to get where you are coming from? "Jesus" people are so f'king dumb these days....ahh, I apologize, I forgot its your take that I have to get right.

In the documentary you learn he has a friend that had absolutely nothing and probably would have been homeless if not for Jack. What i liked about the video is watching Jack go back and forth between being super pissed off and doing a good job as a commercial spokesman. Plus you have to admit he is really good at swearing, the documentary is on netflix for those that wanna see it.

Winnebago fired Jack because of that behavior because it was a poor representation of them as a company, they’d never sell a surplus of RV’s with him in their employ. Little did they know, thirty years later, that type of behavior was so entertaining it made a bunch of us WANT to buy a Winnebago.

This (studio Q) has got to be one of the best radio shows in the world. Maybe somewhat rivaled by swedish P3 documentary. I'm very glad that you share this on the global cyber webs. You should hire Jack Redney ASAP, he has a great voice and a very interesting intellect. People laugh at the winnebago man tapes because they feel a sense of quintessence, this man puts into words what we all fell when we have a bad day at work.

Jack, I am with you. As a veteran car sales person I have made a few live commercials......they are tough and awkward. Your outtakes make me laugh...enough said. The fact that these people are dwelling on it disturbes me. People are oblibious dolts in respect to American humanity today. As a mechanical engineer I just don't get it. I totally understand why you don't understand. That said; if it is generating income for you in you later years, I am OK with it.

Interesting video. Good to see Jack got to reflect on the documentary and his notoriety. It raises some important questions about videos as a form of spectacle and I thought it was great that the director talked about not humiliating Jack in the documentary. These days I'm sure people would also watch Jack simply because he's an interesting person. All power to him.
