He meant it. He admitted that mega banger last season from like 1250 yards out was a failed cross so I believe him when he says he meant this one.

That starting XI: Gollini: Will go back when his loan expires. No worries. Sessegnon: Young, improving and shows desire. Davies: Experienced, versatile and has really been dependable under Conte Rodon: May not be good enough. Still young so we can loan him out. Tanganga: Makes too many errors. Young, loan him out. Doherty: Sell Winks: Impressive and consistent under Conte. We can improve in that position but he should stay. Ndombele: So skillful but doesn't look like it will ever work for him at Spurs. Sadly, sell. Alli: Shows heart but things haven't been working out here. Sadly, sell so he gets a fresh start. Lo Celso: Inconsistent. I still think he can be great at Spurs because of his quality and attitude. Gil: Young and promising.

Harry Winks definitely meant it if you look at his eyes it was directing to the corner of the net and I could feel it was going to be goal. His reactions after the goal was so clear he wanted to score that goal and get on with the game ie no celebrations from him. Unlike the approximately 50 yards goal he scored in another where his reactions was he couldn’t believe it! There is no two ways about it Harry Winks intended to score the goal to equalise! He was super at it and loves playing for SPURS COYS!

we played a nice formation first half, no striker, 3-4-3-0. Tanganga having another nightmare game. And then theres Winksy with the wonder shot which he does once a blue moon, solid shot, never on purpose, but it goes it. Nothing more Spursy than that!

However, I am once again disappointed with Gollini. Last time he costed us the place in the Conference League, and now he made a huge communication mistake. Joe has already showed that he has to come out and grab the ball, but instead of getting it he jogs backwards and it costs us a goal with might have resulted a lost. Shocking from the Italian GK once again. Should have given a chance to Brendan Austin imo.

whether he meant it is not a simple question. he's clearly aiming for the back post, he wants to put the ball in an area- he's not aiming for a specific person. he obviously wants to hit it in such a way that it is going in the back post if it doesn't get a touch. that doesn't mean he was only trying to score and not also trying to cross but im just saying when Son does this, we never say "but did he mean it?" its just a great FK and he should get the praise it deserves- got us back into the game as well so hugely important in a generally embarrassing performance

Winks scores when he is not thinking of it, he plays hard .only if he believes he can score then he could be a starter.

Ndombele should never wear the shirt again

He used to be somewhat decent in december but now he is absoluetely terrible He loses every ball He only passes backwards and sideways He slows down the game Cant defend Just goes invisible all game except for when he does a bad thing Sometimes gets a lucky shot on goal or gets a simple pass right and people think he s good We need to sell him ASAP

Seems to me like a typical Spurs performance against lower league opposition.We always seem to think that its going to be an easy win and never put in the effort required."We won't lose because they're not as good as us so we only need to show up and we'll win 5-0".Its been that way in all the 50+ years I've been a fan.

Winks is the prodigal son. Castigated by tottenham and english fans who know so much but yet so little. Tottenham once again with their football philosiphy of providing playmaking midfielders have the success of england in their hands. Skip and winks. Rice has to play in the defence and these 2 must develop a partnership to take england forward. They are both capable of making the forward pass out of defence.
