@@sandakureva I once heard a skydiver give an analogy that has since stuck with me. Skydivers and base jumpers are given two jars. One jar has luck, the other has nothing. And with every successful jump you perform, you take some luck out of the first jar and place it in the experience jar. Eventually, your luck runs out and you begin to solely rely on your experience. Their point is that eventually, your luck will run out.

i know some base jumpers, two of them say they are afraid of heights and they hate climbing an open area. they also say it makes them feel like they can handle any life situation afterwords when you are shaking with fear and overcome it like this. and a classic answer to why they are doing it, "i dunno, i just know it makes me smile and be happy"

My late father in law used to live opposite of Niesen. All we had to do is look out the window at Niesen’s beautiful lines and shape. I have climbed Niesen, but what these guys do is insane. 👍

Tandem is nothing like jumping solo. Solo dive is better and in my opinion less scary because you are in full control. The main thing is to check your gear, check it again then when you are sure everything is good, then have someone check you then check again. Dont cheap out on gear, understand how everything works and have fun.

These guys make skydiving look like its just no big deal, they are so used to wingsuits that skydiving is as natural as breathing to them. Its amazing the level of skill these guys have.
