This looks like a safe jump. The proximity flying is the problem with this activity.

Yes, this is a “simple” jumps since basically you fly all the way through open space, you could eventually fly along side the wall, but it was my first time there and with the cloud I prefer to fly straight to the landing zone

Out of pure interest and obviously hypothetical. With zero experience but very good general hand eye coordination plus a short briefing of the chute controls beforehand. If I was to buy a wingsuit and parachute and jump off in the same spot as you did in this video. What chances would you give me of landing it in one piece?
@raiankamel
Жыл бұрын
To be honest I think it would end up really bad, controlling your body in free fall requires lots of training, even without the wingsuit on, people with just few skydives have tried to do that (wingsuit base jump) and it did mot end well for them

@@raiankamel Interesting. It looks like a really smooth and straightforward transition from freefall to glide. It must be an incredible feeling. Well done for following your dreams.

@@raiankamel You mean ,when the fly too close to the mountain ? But can it happen,for instance,when you are flying ,that a gust of wind just pushes you violently into direction you dont wanna go? And then if you are too close to some terrain,then you get killed. To me ,its ok to fly a bit further away from mountains and then just use your parachute when its time for it.

@@jonbonesmahomes7472 You should evaluate properly weather and wind before jumping and also during flight, it could happen to experience thermals or turbulent air in some part of the flight, especially close to tree or mountains ridge, that's why you should alway fly with the proper condition and adjust your flight path based on the condition you find
