This night was the birth of our unofficial official color becoming purple, and the birth of "BORAHAE".

J-Hope's rapping style is the most legato of the three Rap Line members & Cypher #4 really brings that out. It's also why I think JK doubles his rapping so well; they meet in the middle between singing & rapping.

Before the whole Wings comback, bighit made an announcement that Namjoon was gonna go get his knee checked because of a bit of fracture. That he was taking a bit of a break from practicing for the comeback but he's gonna be ok. Was just instructed to be more careful. And when that came out we were all like what kind of choreo does the comeback have to have that injury?? and then we saw the Blood, Sweat and Tears choreography and we understood why. it was so much jumping and not just in place, they were jumping to their next formation.

you need to watch their concerts in full!!! starting from red bullet tour!! you don't have to make a reaction vid, just watch it on your own time. you'll have different appreciation of their stamina, consistency and transition from one song to the next!! some of it are available as paid contents on weverse or on official dvds but there are also other links available online.

For future reactions, I would recommend not breaking up the MAMA/MMA performances into single songs, rather watch those performances in full as a whole, it's much better and more awe-inspiring when watched in full in my opinion, as it was when originally aired. I'd say the same about concert performances as well, but I understand there are some iconic concert performances that can be watched individually. Performances like Cypher 3 would just be much better when you watch the actual concert movie imo, instead of a fancam.

A tip to sing along to Korean is not think too much trying to read each and every single letter, it's better to listen and repeat. The romanization of Korean, which is what you were reading, are made specifically for English speakers because, for example, when they write the vowels "eo" together it's supposed to be pronounced as a closed "oh" and not separately as "eh-oh". Another example are the vowels "ae" together pronounced as "eh" (see the word "saranghae" [love you] you pronounce it as "sah-ran-heh" and not "sah-rang-hah-eh"). I hope this made sense 😭😭

I'm actually not sure if i'm correct by saying it was made for English speakers but that's what makes sense to me because of their use of vowels together to make a certain sound and also the use o "ng". If the romanization was created thinking of my native language, Portuguese, they wouldn't need to use vowels like that, they'd use our accents, so the word "saranghae" for Portuguese speakers would be written as "saranrrê" with two R's to make the H sound and "ê" to make the "ae" sound

I highly suggest you go back and watch the full mama 2016 performance. It might be because it’s the first performance I saw and that made me army but the energy level on that whole performance is top tier 🫶🏻

when encountering romanised korean, read "eo" as a wide "oh" (as in you open your mouth wider than when you say oh), "ae" as the e in fed, the i as the e in see and whenever you see a "y" between a consonant and a vowel it makes the same sound as the "i" (it's then followed by the next vowel, so the consonant+y+vowel combo sounds like only one syllable). also the "g" always sounds like the g in give.
