You need: 1) Flat water 2) Wind direction that does not push you back to shore while getting up 3) bottom without a lot of rocks and seaweed to foul up foil This combination of conditions is rare enough to make wing foiling sites rather rare, at least for beginners. Experts who can get up immediately in waves and chop will have more options.

Great video! I picked up several tips. What size wing are you using? Are you right over the foil with your rear foot? When you pump the wing are you pulling primarily with the rear hand toward your hip? Aloha, Don

Your rear foot is forward of the mast and try to keep front arm up while you pull with the rear arm to your chest. As you pull, pump the rear foot. Pump is all about the rear foot.

@@taop503 they say your weight in kg + 40 in litres to learn and weight + 20 to ride after learning. so you are 90 kg + 40 = 130 litres to learn and 110 to ride. rent/borrow the bigger board and buy the 110 litre board

@@rushmarkrush Thank's for your answers. Oh 1150 !! it's very small for the Wingfoil practice, you are so easy to take off your board. I can't take off so easily with a 2000cm² wing, even by following your advice and I have a 6m too and my board have 97 liters.
