Very impressive. Very practical training. Its alive and unpredictable. I like that Master Wong liaises and highlights other martial arts/artists. Its how you learn and develop yourself to be better. Everyone/every style has something to offer. You don't learn as much by living in your own proverbial bubble.

@George Michael Jr No because the Chinese communist government in 20th century weakened Kung Fu, they were scared it could be used against them, so they discouraged sparring and encouraged "dancing" type things like Wu Shu. Bruce Lee was from Hong Kong so he escaped this influence. Other Chinese left China in the 20th century (former nationalists etc.) and went to Europe, US etc, and taught the "white man". This is where you can still find some good schools today. This is also why you see these old Chinese "masters" getting their ass kicked by Xu Xiaodong in China, cus they never sparred, whereas you look at Western practitioners (search Alan Orr or FightScience) and you see people who do real sparring and can fight.

@Jose Stickman This drill is to let go of thoughts and respond instictively instead which is much faster and safer when synced. It's also a stress test to train you to keep calm under high pressure. Keeping calm is the key to maintain fast accurate tactical awarenes where fear, stress and emotions kills your awarenes. Flinch responses is fine and can often be helpful if synced with your arsenal. If not you freeze up that gives panic + tunnelvision and removes any rational skill you have undtil calm again if you survive the attack. This drill alone is not enough to master preventing unwilling mental escalation against any random attacks, but it can cover a big part of it.

The truth is their broken inside and seek vibes from others. No better way to do this than come on line belittling others. There are two types of cognition. One is default cognition/perception. The other is being cognition. Default state is where we identify as humans, labels,

@@user-rr1hr1el9x I mean, I did say knife demonstration, not reality, but it has some realistic element in this demonstration. This demonstration happen when both side has knife and has prepared for the fight. Answer this, if you and your opponent have knives and willing to fight, will you do a full thrust, without taking account that oppnent may parry + evade the attack and counter it? Note here, I say parry + evade.

As a rule I tell no one my resume however I have achieved a fifth degree black belt in Taekwondo Judo and hopkido I've been to combat multiple times for my country and taught thousands of students men women children how to protect and defend themselves and this is by far hands down one of the most impressive videos I've seen in a long time.
