Haha I love that Chris got surprised/impressed yet again about Yoon’s vocal range. He also mentioned Jinwoo as well because people tend to forget that even though Jinwoo is very capable to sing falsetto notes and usually sings brightly and high tone. He has a beautiful lower register too. It’s opposite for Yoon..he is a BARITONE and yes he is a power vocal..he’s main vocalist for a reason. BUT… he can also can sing high notes and falsettos just as effortlessly..falsettos that are HARD TO REACH. Also, Yoon has gone of KING OF MASKED SINGER twice. His first appearance he didn’t pass round 1. The second time was back in April 2020 and WINNER was promoting for their last OT4 comeback because military hiatus was upon them + COVID/pandemic/lockdown. Yoon didn’t expect to pass the first round and he honestly just wanted to promote WINNER cb. However, he ended up becoming KING OF MASKED SINGER and defended his crown/throne for like 2 months!! He became the first YG artist to become King and the youngest idol to become King. He’s top 3 in most wins for overall King/Queen masked singers and top 3 in male idols who became King.

MINO Killing Verse is definitely A MUST!!!! And pls don’t forget to check out Yoon, Hoony and JINU’s solo stages too. Thank you for appreciating WINNER 💙

Of them, you have reacted to Really Really & Everyday. So recommending the other 4, which are Movie Star, Ah Yeah (both you heard tidbits of in Killing Voice), Raining, and Mola. These are from their 2019 Japan Tour and they have a live band with them and their performances were superb. My personal favourite is Movie Star, which is right at the top of the playlist. It's a bit of a remix short version of the original, but it's an absolutely breathtaking performance. Movie Star is also, despite being a B-side, a fan favourite track among us ICs 😉

Winner does really good at story telling. With the lyrics and choreography, also the way they sing it (because they produce their own songs). Plus.. The rappers are good singers and the singers also can rapp 😂 After all this years, they're still one of most wanted boygroup in college festivals and waterboom. Aside from their songs that has summer vibes, they also good interacting with the audience. There’s a dance practice for Fool and Hoony is the choreographer :) Hold is a fun MV that features another artist starring in the MV (Lee suhyun from AKMU) which shows how unserious they take themselves. Another fun short video is their I LUV U dance practice video where they’re dressed as teletubbies if there’s a video on KZread still. Seungyoon is one of the top vocalist in 3rd gen. He won 6 times on King of Masked Singer (2nd highest for a kpop idol and one of the highest overall) would recommend one of those to check out if copyright isn’t an issue (favorites are family picture, lie lie lie, and 25, 21) or his performances in Begin Again because those show how powerful his vocals can go even when singing with another powerful vocalist. 365 is a popular b-side of his amongst fans and he has a performance of this too online. Jinu has a couple of solo songs, “Call Anytime” is the one he actively promoted with I think you would enjoy the dance practice of that one cuz he’s very smooth 😏 Hoony also has a couple of solo songs, the one that stands out the most is Flamenco that he performs in festive attire for the concerts (2022 concert is the preferred version imo). He is also very entertaining idk if there’s a tiktok complication of his videos but he got into tiktok for a while and was getting attention and started to get brand deals and become a Tiktok ambassador until he fell off the grid. Lastly, for Mino I concur with everyone that Killing voice is a great video that goes through all of his best featurings and B-sides. His performance in hiphopplaya is a great video that showcases his stage presence and actually features his most popular songs as well. Some other videos that could be recommended would be their Winner Brothers show that they did (would recommend ep 1 cuz that ep shows how they act with each other and you also get to know them more or the ones with treasure cuz they are great with working with others feeling welcome and comfortable while still be entertaining). The (un)helpful guide to Winner from 2021 is a great guide and most recent but there are some older but more popular ones that are also a fun watch too Sorry for this long comment 😅

There's no secret phrase but I definitely think you should also check out the mv for "SoSo". It's very artistic. For some more mvs, I suggest "Baby Baby" & "Sentimental". For solos, I suggest "Born to Love You" by Yoon & "Run Away" by Mino. Mino was also in a duo with Bobby called MOBB, so when you have a chance, check out "HIT ME" & "Fullhouse".

14:46 MINO is actually a big fan of T.O.P. of Bigbang..a fellow underground rapper who is also a baritone..they actually like slow, low tone & heavy rap styles..but both of them are very versatile & they can rap fast if they wanted too..T.O.P. is famous for his confidence & killer stare on stage😅

Hmm. I don't really know a good or updated guide of WINNER so instead of a guide, I recommend to do the "What happened to Winner" video.

If you're interested in their variety show, here are few that I think is enjoyable or if you just wanna see them outside of singing n dancing: 1) halfmoon friends (they become teachers for abt two weeks with some kids, it gets emotional) 2) youth over flower (they get kidnapped to go on vacation) 3) new journey to the west (mino fixed cast) The rest are the usual like running man, knowing bros, weekly idols etc. For musics, there's a saying in inner circle where winner never disappoint. They always make good music especially their ballads n sad songs. Like when you said who hurt you when yoon was singing 😂 yes exactly. Their slow songs r like that. It gets you questioning who hurt them haha.

I would love to recommend a WINNER guide but sadly there aren't any updated ones. So I would suggest you check out "What Happened to WINNER" to have a fast track of their journey. nice observation about the colors. i didn't notice that earlier. like others have said, mino does have his own killing verse but it's still not subbed. there's another upload of it where a fan subbed it including his pre- and post-killing verse interviews. his lyricism is amazing so it would be nice to see the subs, but it's difficult to understand some of them as someone who does not understand korean. and you're right about the story-telling. i'm not sure if you have reacted to or even watched bigbang's still life mv but yoon and mino did a cover of it. mino made his own verse and told the story of bigbang's song from the perspective of someone who loved and looked up to them, but also saw everything they went through. there are different interpretations to things he referred to and whose perspective it was supposed to be from (but it might be complicated if you don't understand some bigbang references). he also tells many different stories in his other solo releases and featurings. yoon has a collection of his solo stages from the king of mask singer. i watch them when i want to cry i wish you can also find time to react to the soso music video. i've seen some western reactions and the understanding of some can be quite shallow.

Thank you for reacting to them. Now that Winner is currently on hiatus, I enjoy watching reaction videos like this. It's like watching with a new found friend from far away. Cant count the number of times I watched their Killing Voice, and I never really paid much attention on the background colors until you mentioned it. And also that Changmin-Jinu similarity, I can hear it. 😊 Your observation as well, that they hype each other👍 my fave perfs of winner are during their university festivals, it's so fun and elating. When you said your toxic trait is thinking you can reach that high I Love Yooooouuu like Yoon, same. 😂 all ICs tried even during Winner's live perfs to reach that high. I recommend watching their concert clips to check them out as performers but you can check out MBC gayo 2017, MMA 2017 and GDA 2018. They rarely go to year end shows but they always deliver with live vocals and overall wonderful performances.

If you watch any Kang Seungyoon performances (may it be with WINNER, duo or solos), he adds addlibs and modifies some notes in live peformances. He is a powerful vocalist, and he definitely knows when to balance it out so that overall performace is amazing.

Soso is the most under appreciated of their singles. The production is amazing and the lyrics are deep. One of my favorite songs of theirs for sure.
