Trying to fill any gaps I have left in France; so, hitting an interesting and under-appreciated island region.
Жүктеу.....

Another great winecast! I visited the island in 2019 and tasted in throughout the north. Stunningly beautiful, they have vines planted right up to the ocean.

My first corsican was a white blend of vermentinu and chardonnay. It was like laying on a bed of roses! 🥂

Thank you so much for your winecasts! I was recently in France and had a 2014 Patrimonio (from Domaine Santamaria) that was absolutely spectacular. I seems like those Corsican reds are indeed hard to find in the US, which is too bad...

Dear Unknown Winecaster, I have been a big fan of your channel since the first day that I discovered it. Your videos have helped me a lot during my wine learning process. I have obtained my degree of Sommelier, WSET 3 distinction and also master of wine and spirits that I'm currently doing. Actually I'm writing my graduation thesis, titled: Can Chinese wine be able to export? So, i would like to ask if you have some knowledge about Chinese wines? If you do, I would love to hear your opinions.

Dear The Unknown Winecaster, I find your videos are great sources of wine knowledge. I have a question: is it possible to compare values of wines by country based on varietal/vintage/ABV? For example, Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 at 13.5% ABV: which new world country offers the best value? And similar comparison made for Merlot, Chardonay, etc etc?

That is interesting. Ive never given a thought to Corsican style wines. Do you have a particular brand that you've had that you would recommend?

I've looked in San Antonio... yup. Can't find one. Now I'm looking at super specialty stores and to see if an independent broker can find some for me. :\

I wish you luck. Other than Muscat du Cap Corse, you can't find them in Seattle either. If you find something and you drink it, please let me know what you thought as I trust your palate. Cheers!
