Primitivo / Zinfandel is a rather good and tasty sort of wine! One of the favorites. Tribidrag is a historical name, nowadays its quite rare to hear this name :) Also known as a 'crvlanik kashtelanski' from Croatia 🇭🇷 or Hungary 🇭🇺

What a fantastic, fun and informative video!! I just love the part where you mix all the fruits and flavors in a wine glass and then swirl the glass to turn it into a nice Primitivo!! Super idea - well done and I learned so much! I am currently doing a wine tasting of 6 Primitivo wines priced from €6 to €12 per bottle. Most are 14% alcohol - and I believe most aged in wooden barrels at least 6 months… Primitivo along with Malbec, Carménère, and Syrah wines are among my favorites. Please make more videos about different wines! Wonderfully done!

Primitivo it's one of my favorite Italian grape, smooth and juicy, controlled sweet flavour, not just with meat. This wine have so flexible flavour, that you can pair with basically any kind of food! Nice video!

Having lived in California and loved Zinfandel, I always wondered how the name “Zinfandel” came from.
Great videos. Love them. We still struggle with the "variety" word lol.

You can say it wrong as many times as you need. It is cute lol. You pronounce it "vaierity" instead of variety. The wine contents and everything are fantastic so don't change a thing :) Many thanks!

Donna Marzia is a very basic entry-level Primitivo. If you can find San Marzano Old Vine Primitivo you will be in for a treat.

Donna Marzia is entry level Wine from Salento. A very good primitivo wine of Salento is Diciotto Schola Sarmenti and Cubardi Schola Sarmenti 👍🏻
Wines from primitivo grapes can be reasonable to good but most often they aren't neither, in my humble opinion. Too fruity, I had one that was 97 point by apparently an expert Luca Malone, and it was not drinkable. Seriously !

Primitivo is a grape that many enjoys because it does have that fruity character, and often taste sweeter. I think it is nice wine to start the journey and discover more! 🍷
