I am a father of 7 month old daughter... My wife's best friend lost her one month old daughter, my wife's goddaughter, a year ago... The first time we got to see her IRL was in her coffin... let's just say I was balling out for the whole duration of this movie, and that I hugged my daughter tightly for a looooong time after that, and I pray everyday to anything that could listen to never be put in this father's position...

Me being father of 3 year old daughter (with exact hair style) and son whom we lost due to infection 4 years ago, when he was just 7 days old, this was unbearable to watch for me. When she woke up, it gave me immense pleasure and heart break at the same time. In short, it was an emotion riot.

This applies to so many situations: pregnancy, babies, people in a coma, etc. When you think they can’t hear you, they can, so talk to them, interact with them, do to speak, it does wonders to the brain. Never underestimate its power

My uncle José woke up from coma (after a heart attack) some years ago... I visited him every afternoon and talked about the other pacients, the doctors, my day at the University, my grandmother (his mum), about the pigeons in the window, the rain, the neighbors... and he told me , when he woke up, that he could hear all of it. It was clear that he had heard me. Talk to them.

Watching this on father's day of 2022 and I am moved to tears. Some fathers are extraordinary, God bless them.

I've watched a video about someone who were in a coma for 3 years. She said that while in coma, she is dreaming things depend on what she hears and on her environment. When she hears her mom, her mom is in her dreams. When it is cold, she dreams she is sitting infront of a snowy mountain. I think this is how it felt like :)

This film makes us realise how important some people in our lives are :

My grandma suffered from cancer. For 5 years she fought like a lion, she was so brave and strong and funny and could deal with litterally anything. She always knew what to do, anways understood people to the core of their heart. The doctors said that they expect her to last a year or two, but she was so strong she succeeded to live for the next 5 years. At the end she was in a really bad condition and couldnt wake up, and was kind of sleeping deeply at the verge of death. Then my father, her son, sat next to her. He said "hey, mom, wake up" in a really soft voice and she actually woke up. Everyone was in shock to see it. My father and grandma talked for a long two hours, and she said she was tired of it, and that after long five years she gave up. Then she told him that she was tired and wanted to sleep for a bit. That was their last conversation. I love her so much. She was an amazing woman. May her rest in peace.

This makes me miss my grandma so much, 2 years ago she died. She was barely eating. She was so sick. One day she passed away in the ambulance. Im so sorry to what happened to your grandma. I never got to meet my grandparents from my dad's side, they died before I was born. My deep condolences to you and your family.

When I was four years old, I fell from the rooftop on the second floor and was hospitalized. I remember my dad visiting me with banana milk in a brown paper bag. But later when I talked to my family about this, my mom said I was in a coma. Banana milk’s was my illusions. A miracle happened I am still alive. I enjoyed the video. Thank you.

I cry alot bcoz my son has blood cancer and his condition is almost same to her , alot of days , months we patiently wait for his recovery , this is very difficult time for parents, may Allah give All patients health and give parents courage for bearing difficulties .

That's the true power of love. Our Dad's do everything to make us happy.

What a beautiful short story. Even though it was short it sure had a big impact in conveying a message. My husband survived Vietnam then when Covid came he took so much care of himself so that he wouldn’t get but god had other plans for him. Needless to say he caught Covid and after a month his lungs had gotten damaged beyond repair and he got his angel’s wings. It’s going to be two years since his passing and I have missed him so much. I feel I can’t be without him.

You can find strength in God and his powerful word. If there is any hope in this complicated world, it is in God. i have gone through the 'tunnel' too.. i can still remember the journey. exactly.. i 'woke up', only darkness. then u hear voice. when i look up to the front, i saw a dot of light. in total darkness, a dot of light is like a glimmer of hope. i ran towards it.. and then i manage to wake up...thank you for the wonderful story😍😍😍

I have watched this video twice and I still get the same feeling after watching it from the first. Love is really powerful and it can even make miracles happen. The girl is lucky to have a father like him. I missed my father who is now in heaven, I knew he was not the best father to be but he loved us and I think it is enough. He doesn't deserve the hate and suffering when he is still alive because he is just misunderstood by people who have different views in life. For me, all fathers are heroes on their own when they care for their children.

These short films really tug on my heart strings. The messages are strong. Well done.

This film is so touching. The way the story interplay’s between real life and the girl’s mind is a beautiful way to tell the story. The broken wind up is a great way of representing the hopelessness you feel watching a loved one being so sick. The poignant story is moving, reminding me of my own experience watching a loved one die in hospital. The music is beautiful and the ending represents how in dark times, hope still exists.

I'm watching this with my 3 yrs old daughter.. Seeing her face changed from sad, scared, to happy😊

For years I haven’t been able to cry…I would get really sad or really frustrated and wanted nothing more to cry all my emotions out but was never able to. I don’t know the reason but I had try many different ways and nothing ever worked. But now…after this video, I cried for the first time in almost 4 years. It wasn’t much nor was it for longer than a few seconds but I still cried real tears and I am forever grateful for that 😭. Thank you for such a beautiful, tear-jerking story 💕

wauw this brought back a lot of memories; sitting beside my last boy-friends bed who fell into a coma after an epileptic attack..the feeling of despair between hope and fear / willing to do anything to bring him back to the conscious world without any result / the unbearable end of such a beloved's life, having to watch him die out of hunger has devastated my heart for a long long time

Still crying, this relates to me and my dad when i was in a very crucial condition in the hospital, my dad used to cry for me every day,, it was really a very hard time but i didn't gave up, i stayed strong and today both of us play together back again

As a nurse working my best years in ICU unit i can trully say it works. You can do everything possible or impossible to save the patients but only when the loving family around you will see the real results. Talk, sing, touch and put on some audio tapes. Never give up.❤

This deep and genuine connection with their children is the one that parents are missing nowadays.

Well done! This short film was big on value and lesson for life. Remarkable animation skills, storyline, and background music. I felt every emotion I was bestirred with. Thank you for such a touching story!

This movie is a great representation of what it feels. Those dreams that the girl had. I had too when I went through. Great animation even the little-est of the details were caught.

It was her dad's voice that helped her to reach the consciousness ..... Miss you dad so much . Its been 4 years now. Still miss you the same way . Will forever miss you as long as im alive . You were and will be the best dad ever . ...

My mom, brother and husband visited me at the hospital when I was in a huge depression; some other relatives and friends as well. Thanks to them and thanks God, I'm back.

visually one of the most beautiful short films, lovely characters, an engaging theme, great music ... if only big cinema chains or independent cinemas would play these movies before the feature it would showcase animators & film makers work & bring their gorgeous creations to a world that wants to see them, this short film was a joy

Some videos are so moving that a thumbs up is not enough, this is one of those. Thank you to those that created this.

My brother age 14 suddenly became sick. At the hospital they thought pneumonia. But he was rushed to a NY City Hospital for Cancer. He got sick late May. He died February 20 1962. He gave patients Valentine’s Card with all the strength he had left in his paper thin body.

This touched my heart. I was a crying wreck halfway through

Just lost my brother Because of a very serious Disease it hurts me seeing this I can't even see him for the last time 😭

I know how it feels. my brother died too and that's the first time I felt how some part of me died with him too. This kind of film made me cry everytime.

I lost my father at hospital when we fight againts corona in december 2020. This movie bring my memory back there. Trying not cry, but i cannot.

Delicate, human, and full of love. Hope the best to all who are suffering and illness. Wishing to recover and find God's happiness forever.

I seriously cried. Then smiled and prayed at just that moment for all those, loved one of everyone out there. For their well being those are suffering. May God bless everyone with good health... All families out there in whole world.. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I felt the same way this little was experienced when i was in coma for 90 days, and when i was back the same bright light i experienced, really very touching n award winning story and make...

@Aurora Vose watch out what you wish for hon. You may manifest it but the coma may give you problems u didn't wish for.

It looks like a disney short film. Unity HDRP is getting better and better.

Definitely a beautiful story! While I wish that I could've seen the two hug at the end (just a personal preference), overall, I liked it! It definitely made me cry.

we need something somone to rely on us and this short stories give us the courage to deal with it and idk how my heart feels free after seeing a video and then crying

This is how exactly I looked at my brother after opening my eyes after 9 days. I said surprisingly *Bhaiya* and could see the tears rolling down from his eyes to the cheeks and he handed over a colorful gems bottle, full of gems and said.. nothing happened.. Life is Beautiful.

this def deserves to be nominated for some kind of award. had me in tears by the end at how emotional it was.

This is me sitting next to my mother singing and praying and hoping she would open her eyes. But she never did... This movie made me cry so much reminding me the last hours spent with her which is forever etched.. I'm so overwhelmed and miss her badly 😞
