No matter how huge the ministry gets, or how many presidents he hob-nobs with, he still dances with the One Who brought him! You don't hear this in a seeker-friendly church who won't preach this truth in fear of offending sinners or supporters.

One of the greatest blessing a christian parent can give their child is to give them a Bibilical name. When a preacher teaches from the bible with a figure with your name during a season of hardship - its like they are speaking directly to you. Thankyou for the edifying message Pastor Franklin

The GOD'S in heaven will weisel where the lost can be found.

I always understood "tongues" to simply be real foreign human languages. Thats why all the foreigners understood the disciples in Acts 2. Thats why Paul instructs them only to pray in tongues - when another is present who understands the language. He says its a "gift for unbelievers" because the gift given to miraculously speak an obscure forign persons language is a miraculous gift to the hearer. Using Pastor Franklins example of the Navajo - it would be like a missionary turning up in their tribe having been miraculously gifted the ability to speak their "tongue". Then they could preach the gospel to them in their language which no one else knew and this would be a "sign" for them and cause them to believe. Today the gift has degenerated into random babblings which actually scare away and disturn unbelievers instead of drawing them too the faith.

What a word! So timely! Thank you pastor for this word !

Dear pastor I'm from Australia I love your teachings. I've been lukewarm of late but my faith has been restored listening to you. I stopped praying in tounges for a longtime because at church a linguistic told 1 person did they know what they were saying? He then told them they were praying in a dead language and were cursing people. What's your take on this I'm so confused. Also there were 29 wind talkers not 27.bless you abundantly.

This is how i fight my battle....

But, the next paragraph, Acts 2:5-12, talks about all the people who heard them speak in their own language. Doesn't sound like a language that inly God knows. To me, it's a testament to all people that Gods spirit now lives in mankind. Those who believe. The pastor sounds like its a praise language that know one knows except God. Please explain. Thank you

This was a complete mishandling of Acts 2. The very idea of there being wimpy prayers is ridiculous. The mass speaking in tongues that you encouraged is forbidden by scripture.
