A new computer (Mac), a new program (iMovie) and a lot to find out.
First try out of Mac & iMovie, a bit long maybe. . .
How the F%*K do I get the GoPro Hero 11 "stickers" (Speedometer, Track, Speed graphic) shown in this iMovie ? ? ? ? ?
Wind was expected to pick up to 8-9 Bft later, tide came very fast by the surge caused by westerly wind, so the shelter of the sandbar was rapidly disappearing .
Another try out of my "new" JP Speed 53 , EVO 3 6.2 m2, later rigged down to EVO 2 5.1m2, and Z-fins SLM s- 28cm.
The very first run peaked 76 (GoPro)/78 km/h (Motion). Just a few km faster as last years record.
A week before, I sailed in much lighter winds with JP 59 Slalom (90ltr) and Starboard Slalom One(112ltr , 75wide) with Neil Pryde EVO 12 6.6m2 resp.
75 and 73km/h (Motion). Now with way more windspeed just a few km/h faster ???
Maybe next time better/faster? ? ?

De vraag is hoe lang hij geschikt blijft om te speelden. Zaterdag leek het of hij in het westen volgelopen was met zand, door de storm de dagen ervoor.

It is a fantastic spot with westerly wind, and northwesterly wind. Only to reach by car in wintertime (with a local (limited available) license) . Or a 6km walk with your gear (whole year possible ! ! ! ) Yesterday I noticed that the westerly end of the laguna has partly been filled up with sand by last storm surge. So looks like our Speedlagune will not last for long. Brendan: Deep respect for Your achievements this year ! Bon Change !

stickers only work using the gopro phone app to edit the videos.

For now I will use the Quick app to put the stickers and then create a link which I can use for my laptop and iMovie program. Lets see how this will work out !

Yesterday with NNW -ly wind, was just possible , but no long reach to sail. It became to deep downwind. I had first to walk some distance upwind before I could start sailing upwind back to the start (with JP54/ EVO2 6.2 and Z-SLM 28cm). Next time a slightly bigger fin for the upwind performance? Due West, is the best ! The storm of 22-23 Nov. has brought a movement of sand into the lagoon. (Speedbump) Full throttle over it . . . ouch ! We have to check out with tide level is needed to sail safe over it. Dynamics of nature !
But please scare away the kiters form Paal 3!!
