Had to question my memory then! I thought, no it's Neil who made the chair. Great idea from two greats
This brings back some memories of watching the woodwrights shop on PBS growing up. Roy Underhill is a ledgend
Makes me so happy seeing you and other makers like Anne of All Trades together doing what you love
That is a beautiful chair! You’re right though, when we have finished a project, the pleasure we get from saying “I made that” is sometimes immeasurable 😊
What a wonderful reward to be able to sit in your own built Windsor chair. Gorgeous.
Love it’ whay you don’t go to Sweden and learn! Same nife and the rest? Fan Sweden 🇸🇪. Fore a long time!
Awesome Video Jimmy! It was fun watching you build this chair on Instagram last week! 😃👏👊
The biggest lesson for us, your KZread audience: never stop learning. Thanks for sharing the experience!
NEVER STOP LEARNING! A talent like you Jimmy still “going to school” I love it!
Итличная работа парни! Джо в подарок!👍
I was trying to imagine the laser aspect of this when you described it in the podcast. Holy smokes, that is cool!! Great job.
Jimmy, it's absolutely beautiful! Well done, brother!
Jimmy you are the best as always.
From boat builder to chair builder. You've done it all Jimmy! Very Nice.
Wonderful work Jimmy, I love green woodworking and Windsor chairs. The brits will be begging you to go to the Bodger’s Ball next!
A trip to remember! I learned so much. Huge thank you to Greg!! Can't wait for the next one Jim 👊🏼
Seeing Jimmy on the school benches (the school rocking chairs I should say) is surprising. Who knew he still had more to learn. It was a superb video. Thank you craftsman 👍
I was waiting for the huge spray painted "Diresta" across the top of the seat!
Even with all the modern tools it still looks like a challenge. So cool.
Outstanding job on that chair. Looks like Greg outs on a great class.
Great video. So enjoyed watching the whole, fascinating process. Cheers Jimmy
MAN! such a very cool workspace! I bet it smells fantastic in there! haha
Nice work in the chair! What a great experience
Awesome... looks like a great environment to learn in as well.
A big accomplishment.
Great. What a fantastic chair and process. Many clever tricks of the trade. In this day and age of CAD & CNC everything a chair handcrafted with skill and physical effort must be quite satisfying.....it is for me the viewer. Everything about the shop is charming and appropriate for the task.
Awesome job! Thanks so much for sharing this!
You are amazing! ❤ Love a wood chair rockee!
You did a beautiful job on that chair.
Great work. The chair looks beautiful 😊😊
Greg is a fantastic teacher and his class is worth every penny. 2022 comb-back student. Thanks for posting this video.

Wow, how fabulous! Such a wonderful compilation of 21st century wizardry happily married to techniques of the ages, creating extraordinary fineness with elegant lines, yet strong & delightful to gently rock in. The entire endeavor coupling love of quality work with the camaraderie of makers brought together by KZread interactions & the vision of one man to provide outstanding teaching with the finest tools available. We live in such wondrous times. Thank you for sharing!

I follow April Wilkerson, who is from Texas. She took Greg's Class in 2020. I started to enjoy watching Wood Working in the 70's, after watching Norm Abram's from This Old House. really an awesome video!
1/15/24...making Bow Back Chair..wow! Great video, lighting, close ups, interior of (school) shop was very warm & inviting but did not see any coffee /snack area..hey, where's the nourishment?..oops, it's Tenneessee, so guess the Burbon was off camera, aye? That was a great video showing enormous complication to build your steam bent wood rocking chair. Great job filming & editing.👍👍. Stay safe & carry on !😊
From what looks like kindling to a chair! Cool video 💪
That was an outstanding video and you ended up with a beautiful rocking chair. Thanks for sharing this with the world...
So awesome I would love to do that
After a hectic week I certainly know what I was missing. Perfect timing sir. Thank you!
The author does like to from scratch, kzread.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.
Gooood morning from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great day!
That is so cool! Love starting the week with this great video!
What an amazing experience!! Thx for sharing this with us!!
Wow! Great experience! Thank you for sharing this!

This was such an amazing video to watch. You always post awesome videos of course. But knowing you were also learning while creating is amazing. I watched it twice already and I want one!
What a mindboggling rocking chair build Jimmy! I would love to take that course and build one of those amazing chairs! Thanks for taking us along! Rock On......... 👍👍🔨🔨
Amazing.
The steam bending is always wild to me.
That is awesome, I don't know if people really know how much work goes into making a beautiful chair. Good job.
The geometry involved. Wow!
Wow - what a great blend of old and modern technology and tools. I bet you had a great craic doing this Jimmy. I know I had a great time watching this entertaining and informative video, so thanks for sharing your experience with us.
