A 'National Windscreen' fitting company dropped a piece of windscreen spacer which got lodged into my blower motor, Had the Motor been Damaged a New Blower motor at Volvo was £1500, Local Mechanic stripped part of the dash out to get to it and just billed me for a few hours Labour, the 'National Windscreen' company also scratched my Bonnet in two places and my roof in 4 places, they left a tool in my engine bay and broke those side trims, the Glass they fitted was faulty so had to be Redone. It is always worth going off recomendations Folks, This Guy took a lot of care and he Obviously takes pride in his work.

Very carefully done. A professional.

I had my 2014 xc70 less than two months and I've gotten a serious cracked windshield and a dip chip. Needless to say I'm beyond pissed. I'm very concerned about the repair procedure. After watching this video I'm feeling a bit better. Just praying my referred insurance repairman is as proficient and conscientious as you... If only of you were in the U. S.

Hi Theresa, That's unfortunate about your windshield, nobody likes unnecessary repair bills, im sure your Auto Glass repairman will get the job done without any issues, it's a straight forward procedure so don't be to concerned. Please let me know how you get on with it & I'm glad that my video has helped is some way.

@@AUTOGLAZ1ER are you anywhere around manchester? :D I feel like our S60 2010 has this issue where it either needs just resealing or a whole replacement with proper re-seal. How much such a job usually goes by? And how much is non heated windscreen for S60 p3 ?

nice job, i just broke my 2010 XC70 windshield and i am looking for a spare my car has also line assist; are line assist and non line assist completely different or is it just a matter of replacing some components? thank you

The windscreen components/attachments need to be detached from the plastic bracket that is connected to the windscreen, so you need to find a windscreen with the same bracket as there are multiple variations on most models of cars.
