I really like the way how Finland continues to be just lovable-crazy, the song and timing of the video is pure gold. But please... I can't be the only one who thinks, that Henri Piispanen has a real sterotypical finnish face and look in his eyes! Such a handsome man :D

I watched some videos and noticed that Henri has the stereotypical shyness of a finn too. He was just one of the producers and song writers and was meant to sing only on the demo. The demo was sent to the competition with his voice on it. So he had no choice but to sing in the natonal selection. Then they won 😂

I think that originally the purpose of the song was not to win, just to show the middle finger to the juries. Winning wasn't the most important thing, just that this song went down in history as the most epic bet in Eurovision history. Thanks windows95man for a great show.

The purpose was definitely not to win. 😂 The duo was surprised as hell, when they qualified from the national final!! And they needed to think what they were gonna do. They were not mentally prepared to actually perform at ESC since they thought they would never qualify. Also they were thinking about the israel thing. But luckily they still wanted to go. And yes. It was the perfect year for it. To show the middle finger and some arse to EBU.

I don't quite agree, but I tend to demand a lot from singers. His voice is a bit thin and as the pitch goes higher you start hearing hiss because he's struggling. The highest note is a bit short of what it should be. I would say he's good enough for most pop but I think he would have sounded better if the pitch was even a half step down. This could also be somewhat addressed thru mixing because it has been a bit off in Eurovision quite often. It feels as singing was competing for frequency spectrum with other "instruments".
No way this deserved 19th place, top 5 for me

This was the best bit of entertainment this year in Eurovision! Total respect to you Fins! This was masterclass comedy!
After a few weeks I can safely say this is my favourite of the year. It's exactly what Eurovision should be (funny, goofy, not serious) and everyone's just having a great time.

Finlands used to it, being ignored by judges. At least people got fun and a laugh out of it. Also a great new party classic has born. I love this song and at first I thought this was gonna win for sure, but then I saw other countries entries and almost everybody had a very good or at least a good entry and wasn't so sure if win95 was gonna win anymore. And then Netherlands came and had that explosive perfomance and energy and I hated to admit it but Netherlands was gonna win for sure. It was that good. The song itself in my opinion is not as good as no rules but it's really good also and the chorus makes it, and they make up the lack of melody with the song with everything else. This was a hard year to succeed because there were so many good songs.

Because it has many layers. You can watch it several times and each time find something new. The outer layer is shocking, and makes you repulsed (What! A middle-aged naked man). Then you perhaps begin to listen to the lyrics, and you'll notice, that it has an empowering message about self acceptance, and you'll notice, that the seemingly outrageous staging actually supports that message, then it will make sense. Then you notice, that the beat is actually quite catchy, and makes you addicted. And in the end you'll notice, that this are actually quite endearing chaps, doing what they love without holding back.

I'm from the UK, but I always wait for Finland's entry with anticipation. Windows95man did not disappoint. Few acts cater to my fond memories of Windows 95, my love for tongue in cheek camerawork/choreography and my appreciation for the irresponsible use of pyrotechnics in one song.

Honestly, no matter how many votes this song got in the televoting, it's literally one of my favorites this year, if not even my favourite, I wasn't having the best night and this one genuinely made me smile. Always looking forward to the Finnish entries ^^

The song is a classic Eurobanger and the staging was fantastic. I laughed so hard when I first watched it but I just keep coming back as it's joyous. Finland are always the true winners of Eurovision.
