@@Bagel_Le_Stinky Correct, since I have checked many videos, they use fake sounds. Longhorn had XP sounds while Vista build 54xx to 5840 had log off as shutdown. The rest had XP sounds, Until build 6000 when it got Windows 7 sounds. So there is your proof.

Actually they're real, they're just not from the main release of Windows that you would recognize. If you were a part of the Windows beta scene then you would recognize them from those beta versions of Windows, in this case, Longhorn (Vista beta)

I don't mean to bother anyone but don't you think it's irritating to say: "Where are windows 98/7/10 sounds ?", "Oh, you missed something" etc ? Also, can we all appreciate his effort on making a 4:34 minute remix no matter how old it is ? Come to think how long it takes to make a remix whatever the duration and whatever the app you use to remix, why would you try to underestimate his hard work meanwhile there are other remixes longer than this ? There are even 5 minute remixes to 8 or 10 minutes with or without extension. Have you ever seen the upload date ? It was uploaded after windows 10 had come out but at that time the sounds weren't a thing. Also if you are wondering, notice the similarities in the sound effects between certain operating systems. Windows 3.1 sounds are nearly the same as windows 95 (tada, chord and ding) but windows 95 has its own startup. Windows 98, 2000, me and xp have some similar sounds (ding, chord and chime), windows 2000 and me have the same shutdown sound. Windows Longhorn is a codename for windows vista and the sounds you heard are fake, they came from fan-made themes and it used windows xp sounds until some post-reset builds used windows vista/7 logoff sound as shutdown, so both are different concepts. Windows 8.1 has the same sounds as windows 8. Windows 10 sounds are different but hardware connect sound. Last but not least, check out videos about sound effects and testing windows builds to find out everything. Thanks for understanding.

Those 'Vista' sounds, also allegedly used in Longhorn, are fake. Longhorn used XP sounds. The actual sounds of Vista are the same as 7.
