I seen win95 in PC courses first time (new technology pentium). Only one PC in our class. All others ~20 had win 3.11 (386/486). It was top technology tranformer those time.

I'm not complaining that youtube recommended me this

some windows 95 things are still present in windows 11.

Windows 95 originally installed from something like 13 or 15 3.5" floppies. A lot of work, a lot of time to create the Microsoft Blue Screen of Death.

I remember I had smallest CD version of 95 OEM 54mb. It would be 37,5 floppies. Other versions was ablout 100-110mb or so. Other thing, floppies ofthen got bad sectors and CRC error check. So if any got some - you were doomed 😀

@@adrenaliner91 In my opinion, Windows 10 is just as good as the ones you listed, if not better. Let’s not forget about Vista and how it was seen as a failure. Also, when I wrote that comment, Windows 8 was the latest version of Windows.

@@TheCoolMhs Vista was a failure because it came in the wrong time. I think the power wasn't there for it. It needed just too much power. 10 imho is unstable and I hate the design. And I can't find anything in the settings or any apps because of the new awful GUI. Well, it's better than 8's GUI.. 7 was the peak of everything since 95. Too bad it's unusable today.

@@adrenaliner91 The only problem I have with Windows 10 is its lack of consistency. There are still parts of the UI that date from Windows 95, and even 3.1! For example, you can turn on dark mode (something that should work on all first-party apps at least) and have large parts of the UI where it is still not applied. However, a design refresh is reportedly in the works for later this year, so let’s see if things start changing.
