Getting things ready for you (fron windows 11)

Now the Mac can natively run Windows 7. I can now say that Mac is good for you if you like Windows 7. Sadly i don't have a Mac. I tried installing Win7 on a 2 year old Coffee lake desktop which has a hdd and i am having issues with GPU Drivers. The 2 year old desktop can also run Windows 8.1 and it's fine just GPU is a problem but unlike in Win7 in Win8.1 The basic display isn't a big problem. Since Windows live movie maker can run on Win8 and new with software rendering unlike Win7 which blocks it entirely. Luckily i have a 1 year old broadwell laptop that has an ssd. I just installed Win7 on a broadwell laptop on to it's secondary partition

you can only install windows 10 nativly on mac and it wont accept any other isos. however if you have a outdated intel mac, running os x yosemite or maybe el capitan, it will say insert win7 iso. newest intel macs say insert windows 10 iso. But, if you install windows 10 on a new/old intel mac running catalina, big sur, monterey or maybe older, do NOT downgrade to windows 7. It will result in loosing all your drives, amd/nvidia apps, and if your mac has a touchbar, it will be black and your keyboard and trackpad wont work. I know this because i already tried it.

This Mac mini is from 2010. Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard were the flagship systems at the time.

Some people could have actually done this too. The earliest Intel CPUs that can run Windows 11 were made in 2017 I think. Of course Windows 10 was almost always preinstalled on computers back then, but it would have been possible for someone to have reverted it back to windows 7, since it still had another 3 years of support, and even in 2017 people were somewhat unhappy with Windows 10 performance and appearance. Personally I still think Windows 10 is the worst looking recent Windows operating system, I miss the aero theme a lot.

They did bring back some elements of aero in Win11, though. Like aero gestures, transparent windows etc.

@@mvcs3385 although 8 & 8.1 were a confusing mess… they did ran pretty damn well, and looked a bit more colorful and appealing than 10 in some ways (10 looked more dull in some ways). Windows 8 wasn’t totally terrible, especially if you had a Table/Touch PC.

It ended with a bsod bc windows 11 was missing files, corrupted files, damaged files. You might have to repair it or reinstall windows 10 or other versions. Windows 11 can be very unstable. Thats why.
