Yeah me too. If they deliver 100% of what they say I will switch from linux to windows. if they are actually doing what they are saying then it makes sense for the long wait. Oh how about they add that feature where your pc isn't bloated as hell bogging down your system using half it's resources when idle.

As much as I hate to say this, Windows 11 is now outperforming Windows 10 in terms of performance and also really useful features, not bloats

Microsoft becoming like Android releasing new os every two years

so you can customize it and make it what you want well then I want Telemetry removed as well as Copilot and I don't just mean to disabled I mean completely removed from the operating system

It'll come out this October mate... Just chill and wait. But beta versions will be available from June onwards.

blow your mind : it is blows my patience with inconsistencies of performance, ui, and bloated system

Instead of copying Apple like they did in the past, it now looks like they are copying from Linux --especially Zorin OS 17's interface options and look and feel. Crazy.

Bruh Microsoft can't seal those leaks and make the OS secret, they always have got some leaks

Always taking for KDE who like to copy Android and GNOME likes to steal from Mac OS.

tbh i dont think i really want to use that, if macs just werent so unecessarily expensive

copilot can already do that it those are premium features are paid

When Windows 12 can be installed without an account and privacy is more respected than it would be great. I'm not waiting for AI and this feature i hope is optional but I don't think so.

Most of that is too good and/or suspicious to be truth. Enhanced Copilot? Okay, I trust that. Multiple modes? Nah, never. They ditched the Windows 10 Tablet mode in Windows 11 and you think they'll come back to that? Well, then you are too foolish or you don't check the information (the latter is more probable)

Both Gnome and KDE visual seems like a decade years ago and at the same time, by default they do not offer some of these aspects. They are just being able to be modified to do something like that by the users due to each flexibility, however sometime tend to consume more resources that before. At the same time, maybe I am mistaken though, but I think that linux kernel is a monolith, and a micro-kernel, in contrast to some other OS, including Windows. Having said that, even if what I stated before is correct, even though the kernel may be a monolith, a Linux Distro itself is separated in many modules. After all, Linux is only kernel, so the correct comparison is between Linux Distros & Windows and not between Windows & Linux.

Sorry, not interested in Windows 12 in the least. I might watch the video at a later time. But for now, they are saying that Windows 12 likely will not get released this year. Microsoft will be working on the controversial AI feature, which many see as an invasion of privacy. There is talk that there will be more updates for Windows 11 AI prep this year and next. Due to the anger of Microsoft wanting users to pay for Windows 10 after October 14, 2025 to still get updates once a year for up to three years, I think that Microsoft will back off and do a three year free extension for everyone. Microsoft is coming out with new features for Windows 10 which was not a part of the original pay update plan after October 14, 2025. tabbed browsing is coming to File Explorer in Windows 10. Unfortunately, so is a version of Copilot. Would like to see Dark Mode for WordPad on Windows 10. But for now, Windows 10/11 are change just for the sake of change that most users don't want or need.
