worked for me, 100% thank you, i had to get a new pc, and im not used to windows 11 yet, ive been running on 10 and made it look like 7, you know old school 95 user, still not happy with the lack of options and back door entrances to customise it to how we like, but i guess i will get used to it, evole with the times, we cant keep going back to windows 1.0 but i kinda really want to :P

Hi, ipMalik, I have windows 11 23H2, I do not have the option to set to Never in the "If you've been away, when should Windows require you to sign in again?" under the Additional Settings section. The drop down box is locked and faded, it is always set to "Every Time". Is there any other way to disable the pin ?

This sometimes happens, Windows creates a second user on its own, but this problem is easily solved. Return all the changes you made to their previous state and restart the computer, the second user will disappear. @@ipMalikThank you answer. I figured out what I did wrong. After I went to netplwiz and unchecked use passwork when log in. There I had to enter my password, I entered my pin and not my windows password. I did it again and entered my windows password insted all works fine. thank you again!

You can solve the problem this way: Open Settings, then open Accounts, then the Login Options tab, here click on the Password tab, and click Change. Next, follow the instructions of the system - this way you will create a new password and then write it down with a pen on paper so as not to forget.

doesnt work, removed pin but now asks password... i did everything right, twice :(
