Got mine done and thank heavens it didn't force update to Windows 11 which was my biggest concern

was a quick update here for windows 10 did not take long here to install also installed the malicious removal tool less than 30 minutes here to install

Does they include in this patch update, a fix for the famous January 3441 glitchy update?

It seems not, just run the update, restarted, rerun Windoz update to get the same old failure to install message again. Really quite poor that this has not been addressed by now. Expecting users to resort to the CMD line to try and run through a process to resize hard drive partitions as a fix is pretty ludicrous.

@@paull35 fully agree with you, its funny back in January on my older pc the 3441 update installed without any problems, so few days later I decided to look what size of partion I'm having, and guess what i have no recovery partition on that computer and installed correctly, and few days later around January 15 when I was installing the update to my newer pc, it failed and it failed lol, me curious to see whats happening with the partition or even if i had one, and surprise it have 500Mb of recovery partition and it failed.. so i hided using the tool gilles provided and it stil stays hidden to this day. Its quite hilarious and ridiculous what's happening with microsoft these days

Malicious software update installed in 20 minutes. Defender update keeps disappearing at 0% installing for 2 weeks. Is this a problem or should I just ignore it?

Defender updates are daily, what you see is a different one all the time, once installed it goes away

It's an open source software suite. The group in charge of it is Apache, a group that leads several free software initiatives.
