In all this time I've been watching this show I could never imagine oneday I would end up in tears. My condolences to Peter and families. The final product was a fitting homage to a beautiful soul. Rest in peace Nikki. And you George, what a beautiful human being you are.

Gosh, I had no idea how sad this was going to be. But how beautiful and life affirming too. Bless you Nikki and Pete. Nikki’s soul is in the mill ❤️

I am really glad that the cameras stopped when George hugged Pete. It was a private moment, and you can see the devastation that they both felt when Pete told George the news. I hope that Pete remembers that Nikki would want to see him stay in the house that she built with him. George is very much a gentle giant.

So heartbreaking and Pete stayed strong through it all and loved his wife as he should with sheer integrity to the end of her journey. I normally don't shed tears but this episode caused my eyes to leak and I couldn't hold them back! George, as your English comrades would say, your a good bloke.

This is perhaps one of the most magical build restoration that has a human element that really hit home in that we are all only here for a short time. When the three were having tears after climbing to the second floor with Nikki, I teared up along with everyone else standing on the scaffold. The legacy left by Nikki cannot be put into word. My thoughts and prayers to the family and especially to Nikki’s husband Pete, as your courage and strength is an inspiration to us all. God Bless!

Setting aside the sobbing. This is probably one of the best buildings I have seen in this program. The wood, and the metal, and the stone... it balances both traditional and contemporary in such an organic way! it's SO beautiful, I'm speechless

Aww, that beautiful young woman it just breaks your heart. Cancer is so evil. I was hoping that Nicki would see it finished, but it didn’t happen. It was so lovely to see how happy she was when she saw the windmill nearly finished. I hope that Pete continues to live his dream and hopefully in the future meets someone as beautiful and lovely as his wife was. Xx

This restoration video has touched me so very deeply like no other. The tragedy that occurred behind the project, which Pete endured so stoically has saddened me. I saw how deeply this tragedy affected you (George Clarke), and because of the way you responded prompted me to respect even more. The finished house is simply stunning. Wishing Pete long-lasting happiness and a golden future which he so richly deserves. Thank you very much for uploading this video. I was so touched by the tears in George Clarke's eyes.

Watching this for the first time and all teared up. Well done to Pete and Nikki for their vision in recreating the old windmill as an inspirational home. Thank you to George for bringing us their story.

As a man i recently lost my fiancée Fiona a month ago &'this just brought me to tears, tears of sadness & joy all at once. Bless nikkis soul & my fiancée Fiona two precious angels watching over us all now.

I sat here and sobbed watching this show.

George is so compassionate for what this young couple is going through. Awww.... death is always so hard for those of us left behind, Nikki seems accepting. Still so sad. God bless them all. What a FANTASTIC mill!!

One of the toughest episode to watch. I had set out to watch a beautiful restoration, but ended up sobbing like a baby. May God continue to strengthen the family that Nikki left behind. Thank you George for being a man with a beautiful heart - your tears got me sobbing.

What a wonderful restoration project and how beautifully done with what seems to be a very talented firm of craftsmen builders. But Nikki and Pete are really special stars, mighty brave and an inspiring part of the story. Nikki quietly shows us all how to cope really elegantly with the hardest thing that life can throw at her, what an admirable soul. Pete too, a brave man. I do so wish him well and above all I wish him peace. His home is marvellous.

I was reduced to tears running down an old man cheeks as I watched this. How very sad for Pete at the end. You could just see and feel his loss in his eyes and demeanor, while at the same time it is a day to celebrate. I hope that he was able to settle into the home and that he has able to rest knowing how much his wife would have loved what they had planned for their future. This is by far the most emotional episode of this show I have seen.

Reed's BEAUTIFUL Windmill is Nikki Fagg's lasting, earthly gift to our world. She's a busy, very much alive angel this very moment. Who knows, exactly, the joy she brought, brings, and will bring, to Peter, their families, & to all of us, really. Well done, every one of you.

I like to watch restoration programs rather than dramas because I do not like to get emotional, and here I am, crying all my tears for Nikki and her beautiful home. Such a lost, but I believe she is there in the memory of each stone, each detail made out of love.

This one was very hard to watch, how cruel things can be. I was really hoping she was going to see the end product of her dream. This Windmill became more than just a WindMill but a monument to Nikki. That will stand for all time.

Ohhh what a sad episode. I don't think it's possible to watch it without tears. The build is beautiful, but bittersweet because Nikki didn't live to see it. George, you are the most wonderful, warm, kind man. I fully endorse the phrase that another commentor made "George, what a beautiful human being you are".

So much happiness and sadness mixed together in this beautiful build. To see the courage and strength of both Nikki and Peter during such turbulent times. We all know our time on this earth is actually very short. I admire both of them so much. Watching them attain their dreams and and knowing only one of them will live to enjoy the fruits of their labor. I pray the families of Nikki and Peter are doing well. God never promised us that life would be fair. This has been a very special and memorable video for so many reasons. And George is such a kind, gentle and caring man. The tears flow freely as I watch this.

Stunning. It's definitly my favorit build in this series, although heartbreaking to learn about Nikkis passing, I'm certain she would've been so proud of the finished result. It is truly amazing. Magical even.

Very nice build and restoration. Nikki and Pete went through there toughest times together. I lost my sister (40) in June 2011. Good that a new cap came on the mill. Even here in the Netherlands there are still many mills without their cap. And some are restored like your or even more modern. I wish you the best.

That was so difficult and exciting to watch I lost my dear friend Nancy the same year and month. Indeed to our Lord when are from and to Him alone is our return. Would have been lovely to see this special couple enjoy the completion of their dream together. How many don't have a support system, so its nice to see that they had one another however short. Life is so short and precious. 💔

Omg what a heart wrenching story. Nikki was such a nice lady. Many blessings to her and her family. Also I hope Pete is well today. What he did to give his loving wife the absolute best and most well built home I think I’ve ever seen was so sad to see her not make it through to the finish. Now she’s in the best home she could ever ask for in heaven. Pete’s parents are also amazing people to do what not all parents would do and give them that land and mill to make this dream come true. If it wasn’t for them this home wouldn’t be here today.

I thought looked an interesting watch but who thought i would end up in tears , what a lovely couple and may that lovely lady rest in peace.

Beyond tea towels and napkins there is no demands on laundry on the ground floor. The study should be on ground floor and laundry on same floor as all that bedding and clothing and bath towels. Lovely job, terrific build team and wonderful couple. I trust he has since found peace in his young life God bless the family.

Just watched this video . First condolences to Pete his children and Nikki's family and friends . May she rest peacefully and rise in glory. This is one video that touched me deeply to my core as if they and I have a connection. Pete your home turned out really gorgeous and beautiful . This is the second time I am watching this video n can feel the same pain. U both are gem of person n u r brave loving husband who has made a paradise in loving memory of ur wife. Truely an inspiration for all.

Why this was suggested I don't know but I watched all the way through. Watching a video is when I try to clear my thoughts of my wife's battle with stage 4 cancer and all that life brings with it, trying to keep her appointments and healthy with the corona virus madness is maddening. I pray my wife's out come will be better than Nicki's but I feel so selfish saying that, I truly hope and pray her husband Pete is doing well God bless

It was late at night when I came across this video. I started not to watch it as it was late, but I couldn't stop watching it until the end, it was great! Sad indeed at the loss of his wife, but what they started together, he felt he must work until completion. I would love to know how he's doing in the years since his beloved passed.

Nikki would have loved it. Very well done.

First of all I gave never seen George cry soo many times in 1 epusode.Also a beautifully done buildings . I can't stop crying. He had 2 small children to take care of as well. . Glad she got the see the sails go and and some of the progress on the house and sleep in the guest house. Glad the mill is on the property of his parents. So sad for all of their loss.She died too soon.31 or 32. .it is nice that there is something in Nikki's name.
