can you redesign the sheath in to a straight forward 1 without buttons which will allow much quicker draws

@@raphlvlogs271 I don’t know. It’s a weird shape. Forward curved and flared at the top. I’ve seen some kukhri that have sheaths that allow draw cuts but they are shorter and not quite as curved.
