I ran across your video after suffering from wind buffeting myself from my quick release windscreen from HD. Per your suggestion, I ended up grabbing a Kuryakyn Jacket Roll from Revzilla as a test. I did 3 separate rides: 1 with HD windscreen, 1 with nothing, and 1 with a blanket rolled up in the Kuryakn Jacket roll. I can see using the windscreen for super cold weather, but otherwise, i'm going to use the blanket roll from here on out. Blanket roll is definitely the path forward for me, thanks so much for the suggestion!

Im going to try this. I just bought a 2022 Harley roadking special 114 Milwaukee 8 with no windshield. I ordered an after market windshield tinted but it came with no screws or bolt kit so I went to Harley to get the bolt down kit and of course they’re out of stock. I cannot do a long trip without a windshield because that wind buffering just wears me out my neck and head are just tired after 30 minutes of riding . So until they send me my bolt kit for my windshield ( it’s on back order) im going to try this rolled up blanket 🤙🏾

I’m glad that worked. I was thinking about installing a vent in my windshield to reduce the negative air right in front of me to reduce the buffeting.

Get a small fairing or cowl just enough to block the wind on your chest.

Blanket interacts with the wind differently than a hard bag or fairing as well. Worth a shot even for those who’ve tried hard bags/mini fairings.

Great solution - I am going to try it out. What helmet do you wear? I need to bite the bullet and spend some money on a good helmet - cheap ones are noisy.

The only way I solved buffeting was putting a higher windshield and see through it... will try with a blanket

I can't believe I never thought of this. It seems like no matter what I do, the buffeting just changes where it's hitting me. I recently took my windshield off, and I like it that way, but a little cross wind and things get pretty rough.
